Overview

This is the endgame version of a Supporting Fire Tactician that started life as a league starter. The core damage still comes from Supporting Fire, but the build now stacks Strength aggressively: every point of Strength adds increased damage to Supporting Fire, and at close to 700 Strength that works out to roughly 700% increased damage for the skill.

The headline trick is the weapon-set passive system. By casting an Offering (Pain Offering) on weapon set two, the character has about a 50% chance to trigger Archon of Undeath through a desecrated belt modifier. Passive points assigned to weapon set two only need to support that Offering and Archon, while weapon set one keeps Supporting Fire and command-skill damage. The creator estimates this frees up around 10 to 15 extra passive points (about 13 in the final tree) for Strength, damage or defence.

Defence is a deliberate armour and energy shield hybrid on Chaos Inoculation. Iron Reflexes turns evasion into armour, “armour also applies to elemental damage” is stacked on helmet, gloves and boots, and a Tragedy jewel (Vorana variant) unlocks a keystone that trades Strength’s life bonus for increased energy shield. The result comfortably runs tier 16 maps with 100–200% Delirium.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Around 13 bonus passive points from the weapon-set Offering and Archon trick
  • Strength stacking scales both Supporting Fire damage and energy shield at the same time
  • Very tanky hybrid of high armour plus energy shield with Chaos Inoculation
  • Handles T16 maps with 100–200% Delirium without taking big hits
  • No need for an expensive two-handed staff; the creator considers the plus two minion levels not worth the downsides

Cons

  • Weapon-set point allocation is fiddly and needs a free passive point to rearrange
  • Relies on specific pieces: Morior Invictus, a desecrated Archon-trigger belt, a Vorana Tragedy jewel and a Megalomaniac
  • Not min-maxed yet; the creator says it is already fairly invested
  • Chaos Inoculation means no chaos resistance fallback if you switch back to life

Key Skills

  • Supporting Fire — the main damage skill, scaled heavily by Strength
  • Pain Offering (weapon set two) — triggers Archon of Undeath and adds minion damage
  • Archon of Undeath — the buff that makes the weapon-set passive trick work
  • Blasphemy / presence auras — utility using the large presence area from the Megalomaniac
  • Command skills — optional; they must live on weapon set two if used to trigger Archon

Gear & Anointments

  • Belt: desecrated modifier that triggers Archon when using an Offering (from an Otherworldly Collarbone via Breach)
  • Body armour: Morior Invictus for armour, evasion, energy shield, resistances and attributes
  • Helmet: full armour base; the creator likes the Runic Helm notable, which adds a large chunk of energy shield. The creator also wants “armour applies to elemental damage” on helmet, gloves and boots
  • Rings: gold rings with rarity and attributes; aim for about 100% item rarity as a sweet spot
  • Amulet: plus four minion levels
  • Weapon: sceptre with Strength, Puppet Master and spirit
  • Jewels: armour, energy shield and Strength percentage (desecrated mods), a Megalomaniac with One for All, and a Tragedy jewel from Expedition bosses (Vorana version)

Key tree notables include Dominion (removes the recovery period so Offerings can be recast quickly), Spectral Ward, Controlled Metamorphosis and Right Hand of Darkness.

Endgame Notes

Offering gem setup matters: Overabundance and less skill effect duration let two Offerings be up at once, maximising the roughly 50% Archon trigger chance. Supporting Fire and Pain Offering must stay on the correct weapon sets, otherwise Archon will not trigger with its full effect.
