Overview
This is a deep-endgame magic-find build that turns heavy physical bleed into a loot engine. Built around the Huntress spear skills Rake and Spear Field, it stacks aggravated bleeding while carrying north of 300% increased rarity of items found, so every pack cleared pays out far more than a standard mapper. The Ritualist ascendancy is the heart of the package: its Ritual Sacrifice skill lets you consume rare monster corpses to steal their modifiers — Haste, Soul Eater and Enraged in particular — giving you a Headhunter-style snowball without ever touching a Headhunter.
The creator pitches it as a build that is simultaneously mobile, tanky and extremely lucrative, and importantly, fun to pilot rather than a one-button farm. It is a chase setup: roughly a level 96 character draped in rarity gear, so the appeal is loot-per-map at the very top of the gearing curve, not budget accessibility.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Enormous loot acquisition — 300%+ increased item rarity stacked across nearly every slot
- Ritualist’s corpse-modifier theft acts as a built-in Headhunter for map snowballing
- Mobile and tanky at once: ~3,800 base life over-leeching to ~6,600, 41% physical reduction, 31% block, 76% all resists including chaos
- Guaranteed bleed on Rake plus aggravated bleeding makes the listed PoB DPS understate real damage
- Engaging multi-skill combo rather than a single-button rotation
Cons
- Extremely expensive — the rarity modifiers on every slot push the cost very high
- Hard gear gate: stacking magic find costs you DPS, so it punishes a thin wallet
- Not a league starter; needs multiple uniques and crafted rarity pieces to come online
- Combo demands attention (buff, Spear Field for rage, mark, Rake, detonate) — not a passive playstyle
Key Skills
- Rake — main melee attack with a guaranteed bleed; linked with Heavy Swing, Ancestral Call, Brutality, Deep Cuts and Heft
- Spear Field — ground coverage for clear and, more importantly, rage generation to fuel a more-multiplier on attack speed
- Blood Hunt — marks enemies for stun build-up and detonates the stacked heavy bleed as a finisher/repositioning tool
- Ritual Sacrifice (ascendancy) — consumes rare corpses to steal Haste / Soul Eater / Enraged mods, the build’s Headhunter analogue
- Disengage — optional mobility/bleed layer that lets you blitz maps without the risk of Sprint
Gear & Anointments
The weapon is a physical spear wanting a big flat physical roll plus +4 to level of all melee skills, ideally with an attack-speed suffix. The body armour is the unique Cloak of Crimson, enabling life leech and life overflow; the belt Ishtala’s Coil supplies a large life chunk and a more-multiplier on physical damage. Jewellery runs gold bases for maximum rarity alongside life, resists and flat physical, with a +3 melee amulet anointed with Blood Tearing. Defenses lean on a shield for capped resists, +1% max resists, life and block. The keystone is Crimson Assault for aggravated, magnified bleeding, and the jewel package leans on diamonds — a Megalomaniac for the Bloodthirsty node plus rare diamonds carrying magnitude of bleeding and magnitude of elements. Specific item rolls should be confirmed against the source video.
Endgame Notes
This is a pure endgame magic-find farmer. The sweet spot for rarity is around 100% before diminishing returns, though the creator deliberately chases higher. It clears maps fast when you want to and can step up to tanky rares and bosses by pressing Bloodthirst, but the entire reason to play it is sustained high-rarity farming once your character is already geared.
