Overview
This build is built around Scattering Calamity — a projectile spell granted by a unique body armour — turned into a near-automatic clear engine on the Blood Mage. Press a single button and the skill fires multiple projectiles that home in on nearby enemies, so mapping becomes a matter of running through packs while the spell aims itself. Stacked reduced skill-effect duration lets it fire almost instantly, and additional-projectile modifiers push it from one projectile to three.
Underneath the auto-aim clear sits a mana-stacking, crit-focused caster. Eldritch Battery converts energy shield into maximum mana, Archmage scales spell damage per 100 mana, and Mind over Matter routes damage through that mana pool for defence. The Blood Mage’s life-remnant sustain and life/mana swap (skills paid from life, damage soaked from mana) knit the whole thing together. Comet is bolted on through Cast on Critical for burst against tougher targets.
The creator is explicit that this is an early, experimental version rather than a finished guide — items were thrown together, the tree is rough and resistances aren’t capped — yet even in that state it clears Tier 15 nine-mod Delirium maps at decent speed. Treat it as a strong proof of concept with obvious room to optimise, and expect a refined version from the creator later.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Auto-aiming projectiles — one-button mapping that chases enemies for you
- Comes online relatively early (around level 78) once the unique with a high-level Scattering Calamity is equipped
- Mana-stacking + Mind over Matter gives both damage and a defensive buffer
- Already clears T15 nine-mod Delirium while still unoptimised
- Flexible support and jewel setup with lots of scaling headroom
Cons
- Requires a specific unbudget unique body armour with a high-level (ideally 5-socket, uncorrupted) Scattering Calamity
- Creator admits it’s not fully optimised — resistances uncapped, tree rough
- The Titan version is stronger for high-budget single-target/bossing tier-to-tier
- Crit and mana stacking add build complexity; low crit early hurts consistency
Key Skills
- Scattering Calamity — the star skill: auto-aiming projectiles from the unique body armour that carry the clear
- Comet — Cast on Critical burst for tougher packs and bosses
- Archmage — scales spell damage from the stacked maximum mana pool
- Cast on Critical — automates Comet off the build’s crit hits
- Life Tap / Bloodletting supports — convert mana cost to life to fit the Blood Mage economy
Gear & Anointments
The enabling item is the unique body armour granting Scattering Calamity — buy it with five sockets and uncorrupted so a Perfect Jeweller’s Orb can socket it fully. Everything else stacks maximum mana and energy shield (converted to mana via Eldritch Battery) plus capped resistances: a helm and boots with ES/mana/resists, mana rings, and an amulet with a Grand Skill (level 17 Archmage). Le Paul’s Applause gloves supply cheap elemental penetration early, with rare +projectile gloves as the upgrade, and a Headhunter belt is the preferred mapping option. Jewels are all crit-focused (crit chance, crit damage, elemental damage), including a Time-Lost Sapphire. Confirm exact unique names against the source video.
Endgame Notes
The build clears T15 nine-mod Delirium in its unoptimised state; the creator flags plenty of upgrade paths (rare +projectile gloves, better jewels, Conduit passive nodes) and notes a high-budget Titan version scales better for pure single-target. A polished endgame guide is expected from the creator as a follow-up.
