Overview
This is the practical, roughly 100-divine version of the Jumbling Spark build — a Gemling Legionnaire that “jumbles” its Mercenary start into the Sorceress tree via a Split Personality jewel to cast Spark as its main skill. The creator’s pitch is that this is the version most players actually need: it strips out the luxury pieces from the giga-budget original while keeping everything that makes the build feel good, and every expensive upgrade can be slotted back in later, piece by piece.
Even on a baseline budget it does not play like a budget character. It blasts 200% delirium, instantly deletes pinnacle bosses and packs enough energy shield and recovery to push juiced grand expeditions. Damage runs through a Cast on Critical / Cast on Elemental Ailment engine that rains Comet, Arc and Firestorm procs while you hold Spark and walk.
The trade-off is complexity. The build revolves around an Adonia’s Ego power-charge combo — Frost Bomb and Powered by Verissium generate infusions, Firestorm converts them into up to eight power charges, then Pinnacles of Power unleashes the payload that keeps you freezing, igniting and shocking everything.

Gear & Anointments
Core uniques include Split Personality (mandatory, ~18 div), two Adonia’s Ego (one for cast speed, one holding a power-charge soul core), a runemastered Malagaro’s Virtuosity for ward, and a Yoke of Suffering amulet anointed with Dominion for a permanent Archon. Rings should be unset for extra gem slots and carry cast speed plus mana-cost efficiency. The rest is rare energy-shield/resistance gear — body armour with spirit, high-ES helmet, movement-speed boots — plus a Heart of the Well with double gain-as-extra. Arbiter’s Ignition supplies the elemental Archon in place of a helmet anoint. Lavianga’s Spirit keeps the flask-effect belt mods permanently active.
Endgame Notes
For maps, filter out “increased elemental ailment threshold” and “increased monster resistances” as the two roughest mods for an Adonia build. In reflect-heavy juiced expeditions you can swap a green support for Commisserate to strip ailments off yourself. An augmented-flash amulet-anoint trick adds two extra dex gem slots (via a spear on weapon set two) purely to gain more motes and free energy shield.
