Overview
This Gemling Legionnaire pairs grenade shotgunning with a Cast on Dodge quality-stacking package to create a build that dashes across maps and deletes bosses in a single overlapping volley. Cluster Grenade is the single-target engine: a primary grenade splits into eighteen sub-grenades, and with reduced detonation time they all land in the same spot — the creator counts roughly 72 hits stacked on one target at around 385 attack damage each. Explosive Grenade with extra projectiles and Nova handles clear, giving full-screen coverage, while Flash Grenade serves as a secondary clear tool and armour-break setter on bosses.
The identity of the build is alternate qualities. Nearly every gem used scales hard with quality — Explosive Grenade gains a projectile per 10 quality, Arctic Armour climbs to six stages, and Cast on Dodge converts quality directly into dodge-roll distance. That last piece, combined with the Surrounded buff from the helmet and movement-speed scaling on the boots, is what lets the character zip through maps. The creator frames the ideal use as rushing maps to farm Citadel bosses and Matriarch Halls.
It is an honest, somewhat min-maxed setup. The creator is candid that the defences are only decent — life-based rather than energy shield — and that the spirit budget is squeezed together from many small sources rather than a clean scepter or amulet.

Spirit is the hard part — the creator pulls it from a Warrior Invictus chest (14 spirit per filled socket), Carved Majesty, idol bonuses, the helmet, and Against the Darkness. Boots are near-mandatory for the dodge-roll rune and movement speed. Rings and gloves are simple attack-damage, life, and resistance pieces. Exact rolls should be confirmed against the source video.
Endgame Notes
The build targets Citadel bosses and Matriarch/Patriarch Halls as its bread and butter. The creator suggests a Right of Passage of the Boar for fire damage and damage reduction, and floats swapping Cast on Dodge’s quality to Reputation for 100% block chance once stun is addressed with a couple of tree nodes.
