Overview

This is a fully-realised endgame setup for the Hollow Assault “Beyblade” Monk, the spin-to-win quarterstaff archetype that has dominated early 0.5. The showcased character sits at roughly 5 million DPS, 10k energy shield, 23,000 evasion and over 100% bonus movement speed, clearing the entire screen with a single channelled skill while farming any content in the game.

The engine is the interaction between Locronial Caress gloves and the Monk’s Way of the Stonefist: the gloves generate charges for allies on hit, and because your Hollow Form clones inherit your character properties, they generate charges for you. Those charges are then consumed by Hollow Form to triple Whirling Assault’s damage. The creator emphasises that beyond being an endgame monster, this is the strongest fresh league starter they have ever played — a level-60 character with Hollow Palm could run T15 maps almost immediately, and the moment you acquire Locronial Caress and Rolling Assault it numerically outperforms nearly every other accessible build.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Exceptional league-start scaling — viable from early maps and into deep endgame on the same skeleton
  • One-button, screen-wide clear with strong single-target through charge tripling
  • Doubled energy shield in this iteration via pure-ES body and helmet while keeping huge evasion
  • Deflection-rating-equal-to-evasion suffixes give very efficient defence on gear
  • Permanent curse immunity from the Hollow Keeper + Boarding rune combination

Cons

  • Locronial Caress gloves are effectively mandatory and chase-tier gear (Mageblood) is expensive to perfect
  • Half the build cost sits inside the Hollow Form support links
  • Channelled playstyle means no life/mana leech — sustain comes from Well of Power and power-charge spend
  • Crafting a top-end quarterstaff is largely a gamble

Key Skills

  • Whirling Assault — the spin attack carried by Hollow Form, your main damage and clear
  • Hollow Form — channels clones that triple Whirling Assault damage
  • Hollow Focus — bell skill providing buffs, power charges and rage generation
  • Pounce — provides up to 60% more damage and armour break via Predator’s Mark
  • Devour / Killing Palm — applies Blazing Critical and Thrill of the Kill for added gain-as-elemental damage

Gear & Anointments

The quarterstaff is the most important slot — an essence-of-abrasion physical base desecrated for hybrid crit/accuracy, scaled with flat offerings. Mandatory unique is Locronial Caress; the chase belt is Mageblood (Head Hunter also works, with Ingenuity or a rare belt as the stepping stone). A Heart of the Well jewel granting gain-as-extra-lightning from body armour is a major multiplier, and a Megalomaniac with Reaching Strike extends weapon range / AoE. Well of Power solves mana sustain.

Endgame Notes

The creator notes the build has done all progression content and has a much higher ceiling still to explore. Pure-ES body and helmet paired with a Legacy-of-Jade Mageblood roll keep evasion massive, and deflection-equal-to-evasion suffixes on boots are flagged as some of the strongest defensive lines on gear.
