Overview
This Chronomancer Sorceress is built around self-cast Ice Nova, run in its cold-infused form so every cast hits much harder. The idea is total control: walking into a map freezes the screen, rares stop moving, and bosses get pinned in place while Ice Nova, Frost Bomb, Frost Wall, Snap and triggered Comets all land together. Freeze does double duty here, acting as both the damage enabler and the main defensive layer.
The loop is simple to learn. Ice Nova clears and freezes, Siphon Elements and Snap keep cold infusions flowing, and Cast on Elemental Ailment turns every freeze into extra Comet explosions. For single target the build shifts to a deliberate burst window: Sigil of Power, Elemental Weakness, Frost Bomb for exposure, then alternating Frost Wall and Ice Nova. The Chronomancer ascendancy adds slows and cooldown recovery on top, which suits a skill bar packed with cooldown-gated spells.
The build is framed as an endgame template that keeps growing with gear, benefiting from the recent run of caster and cold/runic spell buffs in the 0.5 cycle.

- Jewels — crit damage, spell crit, cold and spell damage; a well-rolled Time-Lost Sapphire can be very strong
- Charms — cover slows, ignites, stuns and other map threats

Endgame Notes
For pinnacle fights, open with Sigil of Power, curse with Elemental Weakness, drop Frost Bomb, then weave Frost Wall and Ice Nova while refreshing Frost Bomb on cooldown. The Chronomancer’s burst-window node is meant to line all of these up at once. The creator suggests levelling with other Chronomancer/Sorceress skills (such as Essence Drain and Contagion) and swapping into the cold setup once supports are available.
