Overview
This is an updated Infernalist minion build for the Witch that leans on Spectre Power Zealots as the core damage engine, backed by a full skeleton army of clerics, frost and storm mages, and a Loyal Hellhound. You walk, look pretty, and occasionally dodge through packs to reposition minions for line of sight — the army does the killing while Flame Wall and Frost Bomb amplify damage on tougher targets.
The Infernalist shell is what makes it tick: stacking life converts directly into spirit (more minions, more damage) via the ascendancy, while a hybrid armour/energy-shield, high-block defensive base with capped minion resistances keeps both you and the army durable. The creator demonstrates it clearing maps comfortably and then killing the Arbiter pinnacle boss.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Strong, reliable boss damage — minions shred pinnacle targets like the Arbiter
- Comfortable, low-effort mapping with a large self-sustaining army
- High block plus capped minion resistances give a forgiving margin for mistakes
- Cheap entry: the Wave Shaper chest and most pieces are inexpensive
Cons
- Minion repositioning and presence management are part of the playstyle
- Spectre and projectile minions need pierce/positioning to clear efficiently
- Some best-in-slot anoints (Isolation) and jewels are expensive upgrades
- Energy shield was nerfed this league, forcing the hybrid armour/ES compromise
Key Skills
- Spectre Power Zealots — main damage, scaled with Pierce 3 and projectile speed
- Skeletal Storm & Frost Mages — apply shock and chill plus exposure for the zealots
- Skeletal Clerics — heal and revive the army, a major survivability boost
- Blasphemy + Elemental Weakness — AoE curse that hugely lifts minion damage
- Flame Wall / Frost Bomb — placed amplifiers and exposure for rares and bosses
Gear & Anointments
Build around a scepter with +levels to minion skills and increased spirit (a Rattling Scepter is ideal so Muster can boost the zealots via summoned warriors). The Wave Shaper chest is the cheap centerpiece, granting spirit and armour-from-mana. Stack life everywhere for spirit, cap minion elemental and chaos resistance on the tree, and consider the Amanamu’s Gaze abyssal eye in the boots for movement speed from spirit. Exact anoint and jewel choices should be confirmed against the source video and its POB link.
Endgame Notes
The build is shown defeating the Arbiter; minions handle pinnacle single-target well thanks to Muster scaling and stacked exposure. Future upgrades focus on a Rattling Scepter, better jewels, and the Isolation amulet anoint.
