Overview
This build is built around Liminal Coil, a new unique wand whose defining trade is an unlimited curse limit at the cost of zero curse effectiveness. Paired with a Cast-on-Crit (“custom crit”) engine, it turns a wide curse stack into raw spell damage — the wand grants extra physical and chaos damage per curse on the target, so running five-plus curses as a permanent aura translates to roughly 150% added physical and chaos to your spells.
The core loop runs Coiling Bolt to chain projectiles infinitely between cursed enemies for clear, while a custom-crit Comet (boosted by Living Bomb’s fire infusion) deletes single targets. It plays low-life by design: the Infernalist ascendancy reserves 50% of life and feeds spirit, while Pain Attunement pushes critical damage bonus past 900%. Kaom’s Legacy and a Carved Legacy belt let you count as low-life at much higher thresholds so the bonuses stay active safely.
This is a premium, well-geared showpiece — pinnacle bosses melt in seconds and clear is described as “insane,” but it asks for several specific uniques and a deep crit setup to come online.

Every rare wants maximum life — life feeds spirit, which fuels the four curses, custom-crit and Enduring Presence — plus energy shield as the main defensive layer, and capped chaos resistance to offset Altered Flesh. For mapping, swap Comet for Arc and Living Bomb for Ash Prowess; for bossing, keep Comet plus Concentrated Area and apply Vulnerability. Corrupt your curse gloves to +1 to push curse radius toward whole-screen coverage so Coiling Bolt always has cursed targets to chain through.
