Overview
This Ice Shot Amazon is a bow build that splits its identity cleanly down the middle: effortless screen-wide clear on one side, a huge single-target burst on the other. Ice Shot handles almost all of the mapping by itself, freezing packs and letting Herald of Ice chain shatter explosions across the whole screen. Once the first pack dies, everything around it tends to fall apart in a cascade.
Against bosses the build shifts into a short setup rotation that ends in one enormous hit. You shock the target, apply Freezing Mark, stack Freezing Salvo until the boss freezes, then activate Barrage and fire Snipe for a one-shot or a massive chunk. The Amazon ascendancy is what makes this play style sing — it converts accuracy into both guaranteed crits and extra physical damage, so the same stat that keeps Ice Shot consistent also feeds the Snipe payload.
It is a build that rewards investment. The early game runs on Ball Lightning for shock and ordinary bow gear, while the endgame version upgrades into Thunderstorm shock automation, stronger quivers, better crit pieces and faster-freeze gloves.

Gear & Anointments
The bow is the single most important item: look for a strong physical base with high accuracy, high crit chance, increased/flat physical or flat cold damage, and useful suffixes like projectile levels or onslaught. Accuracy runes are especially strong because of the Amazon scaling. Qadir’s Gambit is excellent for clear, while a Visceral Quiver is the pinnacle-boss swap. The big gear breakpoint is gloves that immobilise enemies at 50% freeze build-up instead of 100%, which dramatically speeds up freezing bosses. For jewels prioritise Heart of the Well with extra cold and lightning, plus From Nothing and Time Lost Emerald setups for crit scaling.
Endgame Notes
The endgame rotation cleans up considerably: cast Thunderstorm to apply shock, Freezing Mark then Freezing Salvo to freeze, Barrage, then Snipe. A second weapon set carries the Thunderstorm and shock-magnitude nodes so the main bow set stays fully invested in cold and crit. Headhunter is a strong optional mapping upgrade but is not required.
