Overview
Sunder is the whole build here. Instead of the stop-start rhythm most mace Warriors settle into — wind up, slam, wait — this Titan setup turns Sunder into a button you can hold down, sending a fissure line through a pack and letting the follow-up explosions chain forward before anything closes the gap. The pitch is that a shield-and-mace character can feel fast, and the supporting stats (attack speed, skill speed, rage generation, armour break) exist to make the main skill repeat rather than to enable a combo.
Titan is what makes the numbers work. Colossal Capacity opens up gearing room, Hulking Form multiplies the value of the efficient tree clusters the build already wants, Earthbreaker feeds directly into both Sunder and Earthshatter, and Ancestral Empowerment turns the empowered hits into the burst window. The result is a build that scales in a straight line — more weapon, more slam nodes, more damage — instead of depending on one fragile interaction.
The defensive plan is equally plain: heavy armour, a shield, and block passives, with Rage Shield, Time of Need and Magma Barrier as the panic buttons. The creator’s framing is that nothing about the build breaks if one piece is under-levelled — a weaker weapon still clears, and the shield buys time when a map turns hostile.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- One primary button carries mapping; the rotation only matters when a target survives the first swing
- Titan’s Hulking Form makes ordinary passive-tree investment pay double, so upgrades are felt immediately
- Shield plus armour plus block gives a genuinely durable frontline body, backed by three separate defensive actives
- Earthshatter, Armour Break, Infernal Cry and Berserk stack into a real single-target burst window for map bosses
- Degrades gracefully — the build still functions on a mediocre weapon rather than falling off a cliff
Cons
- Damage is weapon-driven; a poor Sacred Maul roll is the single biggest bottleneck
- Wants a premium diamond jewel and multiple Grand Spectrum rubies, which is not a fresh-league gear profile
- Mana sustain is called out as a common failure point — clear feels bad the moment recovery is neglected
- Melee and shield-forward, so ground effects and offscreen damage still demand manual positioning
Key Skills
- Sunder — the main clear skill; rips a line through packs and chains explosions forward
- Earthshatter — the heavy slam used on rares and bosses, built around Fist of War and Concentrated Area
- Armour Break — strips defences, generates rage and applies shock to open the damage window
- Infernal Cry — extra burst plus rage and cooldown utility, run with heavy war cry supports
- Berserk / Rage Shield / Magma Barrier — the burst-and-survive trio for dangerous moments
Gear & Anointments
The weapon carries the build: a Sacred Maul with high physical damage, increased skill speed, attack speed, plus levels to melee skills, and reduced attribute requirements where possible. The shield slot uses a chain-of-command style pillar shield to keep the body durable while pushing forward.
- Body armour — life, armour, strength, with mana and any evasion or energy shield as a bonus
- Gloves — attack speed, armour, dexterity, plus melee skill levels
- Boots — movement speed, armour, life, resistances
- Belt — armour, life, resistances, and extra charm slots to cover freeze and stun
- Rings — flat added cold, lightning and physical damage, which Sunder and the other melee hits scale well from
- Amulet — a defensive amulet with Mystical Rage allocated for crit scaling and smoother uptime
- Jewels — one premium diamond jewel plus several Grand Spectrum rubies
- Flasks — life and mana flasks with real sustain rolls; do not trade recovery away for damage

Endgame Notes
Boss sequencing is: build rage, apply Armour Break, use Infernal Cry, drop Earthshatter for the burst, then return to spamming Sunder while refreshing setup skills. In higher-tier and juiced maps, the shield and block layers are what let the build keep attacking instead of repeatedly disengaging.
