Overview
This build reshapes the classic slow-slam Warrior into a fast, spammable mapper by turning Sunder into a repeatable earthquake. A single swing rips a line through the pack and the explosions chain forward, so instead of committing to one heavy slam every few seconds you keep moving behind a shield and clear packs before enemies ever reach you.
The engine behind it is the Titan ascendancy. Hulking Form amplifies every efficient node on the passive tree, Colossal Capacity opens up gearing flexibility, Earthbreaker adds raw slam power, and Ancestral Empowerment delivers a heavy burst payoff. Stacked on top of skill speed, attack speed, rage, armour break and fire scaling, the result feels far snappier than most people expect from a mace-and-shield character.
It also avoids relying on a single gimmick. If your weapon is weak, Sunder still clears; if a map turns dangerous, the shield setup buys time; and if a boss is tanky, Air Shatter, Infernal Cry, Berserk and Armour Break combine into a real burst rotation.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- One-button mapping — spam Sunder to clear packs in a straight line
- Strong, repeatable boss burst via Armour Break → Infernal Cry → Air Shatter
- Tanky and mobile: shield, block passives, rage shield and Magma Barrier
- Scales smoothly — every weapon upgrade is immediately noticeable
- Forgiving: still clears even with a weaker weapon
Cons
- Gear-gated at the top end (Sacred Maul, specific uniques, premium jewels)
- Mana sustain must be respected or clear feels bad
- Not a fresh-league starter — leans on uniques to come online
Key Skills
- Sunder — main clear; rips a line through packs and chains explosions forward
- Air Shatter (Earthshatter) — heavy AoE burst for tanky rares and map bosses
- Armour Break — strips defenses, builds rage, shocks, and opens the damage window
- Infernal Cry — extra burst, rage generation and war-cry value
- Berserk / Rage Shield / Magma Barrier — burst amplifier and safety buttons
Gear & Anointments
The weapon is the most important piece — a strong Sacred Maul with increased skill speed, attack speed, flat physical damage and plus levels to melee skills. For the shield the creator runs Chernobog’s Pillar for a tanky, push-forward feel. Body armour wants life, resistances and armour (World Eater’s Cuirass base mentioned), gloves want attack speed and plus melee skills, and the amulet uses Finesse of Destiny with Mystical Rage allocated for crit and smoother uptime. Jewels center on Heart of the Well plus multiple Grand Spectrum ruby jewels. Specific item rolls should be confirmed against the source video.
Endgame Notes
Designed for juiced high-tier maps. The Titan tree scales physical and slam damage, attack speed, rage, armour and shield/block defenses, so your boss burst grows naturally as you push your main clear. Keep a life and mana flask with comfortable sustain rolls — the build is simple to pilot but punishes neglected recovery.
