Overview

This Echoing Corrupted Cry Warbringer turns the humble war cry into a full screen-clearing engine. Instead of relying on a single skill, the build scales four damage sources at once — Seismic Cry, Repulsion, Corrupting Cry, and the Warbringer ascendancy’s Warcaller’s Bellow corpse explosions — all off the same pool of physical and generic increased damage. The result is a setup that is absurdly comfortable to pilot, surprisingly cheap, and scales in a counter-intuitive way: because corpse explosions deal a percentage of enemy life, tougher monsters and higher map tiers actually feed your damage.

The core loop is just two buttons. Seismic Cry applies corrupting blood, breaks armour, triggers Repulsion, and starts an echo chain; Infernal Cry follows to push softened packs into the explosion cascade. With around 326% combined increased damage plus roughly 140% gain-as-extra from the wand and a block-scaling shield, Warcaller’s Bellow detonates corpses for well over a target’s full life. You move forward, press your cries, and let everything behind you detonate in sequence.

Defensively it is one of the tankiest builds the creator has played in PoE2 — Iron Reflexes armour, 50% block, Defiance of Destiny, and constant recoup/leech keep you topped off while mapping.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Extremely cheap to start — the priciest piece is just a level-20 Seismic Cry gem
  • Comes online around level 65, straight out of the campaign, already clearing T14s
  • Ridiculously tanky: 50% block, high armour, Defiance of Destiny, constant recoup
  • Damage scales with monster life, so juiced maps make you stronger
  • Dedicated weapon-swap bossing setup with guaranteed crits via Nebulock

Cons

  • Delirium is a real weakness — dead mobs leave no corpses, gutting Warcaller’s Bellow
  • Armour builds feel slow; the creator leans on Onslaught charms to compensate
  • Spirit is tight — Blasphemy curses eat over 100, forcing careful gearing
  • The two-weapon-set boss swap adds setup complexity over pure mapping

Key Skills

  • Seismic Cry — primary cry; applies corrupting blood, breaks armour, starts the echo chain
  • Infernal Cry — pressed right after to feed packs into the explosion loop and build rage
  • Repulsion — run through Blasphemy with Temporal Chains for clear, armour break, and endurance charges
  • Warcaller’s Bellow — ascendancy corpse-explosion engine, the build’s main damage source
  • Shield Wall + Fortifying Cry — boss-swap package converting blocked-charge crits into burst

Gear & Anointments

The build wants maximum gain-as-extra physical/elemental damage on a rare wand, paired with a unique shield that grants damage-as-extra-fire per 1% block chance — together hitting roughly 140% gain as extra. Alpha’s Howl supplies the spirit for Scavenged Plating, Time of Need, and Berserk, while Defiance of Destiny anchors survivability. Armour-applies-to-elemental rolls, life, and resistances round out rares. The bossing set runs Nebulock plus a high-armour shield for guaranteed-crit shield wall hits. The creator plans to anoint Zone of Control for the hinder layer and eventually a parry-debuff notable for bossing.

Endgame Notes

The build feels incredible in Ritual, Breach, and Abyss and pushes fully juiced T15s by level 85, including comfortable party play. Delirium remains the one caveat — it still clears but becomes a slog without corpses to detonate.
