Overview

This is DeathKing’s final, high-investment update to the Ice Shot Deadeye, aimed squarely at the hardest content — 200% delirium maps and fully juiced endgame. It keeps the freeze-and-shatter Deadeye core but layers in an armour-break explosion package and a dedicated boss-killing combo, funded by several hundred divines of gear.

The headline addition is Uul-Netol’s Embrace on Herald of Ice: supported skills gain 40% of physical as extra chaos and break armour off chaos damage, which — paired with Chaos Atonement for the chaos threshold and Uul’s Awakening plus Armour Explosion — produces a big screen-wide fire explosion on clear. Freeze build-up is upgraded from Serrated Edges to Heavy Frost and the Fine Ice anoint (50% increased damage against frozen enemies), enabled by a costly Raven-Touched socket that instils a second notable on the helmet.

For single target, Freezing Salvo is dropped in favour of a Frost Wall combo: drop Frost Wall over Tornado Shot, then hit it with Ice Shot for a large freezing explosion concentrated on the boss.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Screen-clearing armour-break fire explosions via Uul-Netol’s Embrace
  • Huge boss burst from the Frost Wall + Tornado Shot + Ice Shot combo
  • Heavy Frost and Fine Ice give much stronger damage-vs-frozen scaling
  • A Right of Passage charm grants permanent Spirit of the Wolf in maps (kill speed, move speed, armour break)

Cons

  • Extremely expensive — Uul-Netol’s Embrace, Raven-Touched (~94 div) and gear runs into many hundreds of divines
  • The Frost Wall boss combo demands manual timing and positioning
  • Requires enough chaos damage on Ice Shot to reliably trigger the explosion
  • Not a starter or budget setup — strictly a late-league capstone

Key Skills

  • Ice Shot — main attack; needs added chaos to fuel the explosion trigger
  • Herald of Ice — carries Uul-Netol’s Embrace, Chaos Atonement and Armour Explosion for screen clears
  • Frost Wall — boss combo piece (Less Area, Fortress, Cold Mastery, Rapid Casting, Cooldown Recovery)
  • Tornado Shot — multiplies Ice Shots and seeds the Frost Wall explosion
  • Freezing Mark / Mirage Deadeye — freeze application and projectile duplication

Gear & Anointments

The capstone uniques are Uul-Netol’s Embrace (armour break + extra chaos) and a Raven-Touched socket to instil a second notable (Heavy Frost on the amulet, Fine Ice on the helmet). The bow is chosen for flat 90% crit damage bonus and +4 projectile levels; a Heart of the Well diamond supplies the extra chaos damage the explosion needs. Garukhan’s Resolve is the rich-player swap over Freeze on Ice Shot. Specific rolls should be confirmed against the source video.

Endgame Notes

Keep crit damage bonus above ~300% and crit chance at 30%+ for the sweet spot. The explosion only fires when Ice Shot carries enough chaos damage, so don’t strip the Heart of the Well diamond or Chaos Atonement when economising.
