Overview
This Monk takes the Shattering Palm engine in a flashier direction by pairing it with a Cast on Crit Frost Wall setup. Because Shattering Palm runs at over 90% critical strike chance, the build crits constantly, and every one of those crits feeds the Cast on Crit trigger. The result is a near-continuous stream of Frost Walls that shatter and explode across the screen, layering cold burst damage on top of the staff’s lightning hits.
The core loop is built around staying at extreme crit. Power charges are generated on every critical hit through a transformed Stone Fist glove interaction, which in turn fuels the charge staff, the bells, and the extra lightning damage from Ren. Living Lightning adds roaming lightning minions whenever the build deals lightning damage, so a staff with innate lightning rolls keeps that side of the engine running.
Defensively the character leans on a full-evasion chest, Atziri’s Step, and heavy deflection, reaching around 70% evasion and a 91% deflect chance. The creator reports clearing 200% breach content comfortably, rarely dying, and having effectively finished everything in the game at level 96.

- Atziri’s Step boots, granting deflection equal to 56% of evasion rating and pushing toward 1000 evasion
- A full-evasion chest with deflection rolls
- Stone Fist gloves, which transform their crit-damage and arcane-surge rolls into crit-hands and power-charge-on-crit effects
- Amulet using Eventide Petals with the Storm’s Rebuke unique mechanic (two Sufferings and a Melancholy), broken armour also increasing cold and lightning damage taken
- Rings rolled for physical, lightning, and cold damage with resistances to cap out
