Overview
Byankuu’s week-one Stormweaver is a Spark build that quietly stopped being a lightning build. Call of the Brotherhood converts the damage to cold, which turns a screen full of bouncing projectiles into a freeze engine: packs are either killed on spawn or locked down and then killed. At level 96 the character sits on roughly 8.9k energy shield with resistances capped, and the whole rotation amounts to standing somewhere safe and spamming one spell.
The engine underneath is the resonance package. Frost Bomb, Orb of Storms, Siphon Elements, Cast on Critical with Comet, and Remnants of Algor are all running Harmonic Resonance support, so the build is constantly generating and consuming remnants rather than managing mana directly. Explosive Transmutation carries Arbiter’s Ignition to pick up elemental charges from the ignites the wand’s gain-as-fire modifier creates.
The creator is candid about where it stops. It handles most content comfortably, but he does not recommend Expedition on this version — that wants a mana-stacking variant, which is the direction he plans to take the build next.

Pros
- Effectively one-button clear — Spark plus freeze handles packs without aiming
- Around 8.9k energy shield with capped resistances makes it forgiving to play
- Excellent at stationary farms: Trial of Chaos and Ritual are the creator’s chosen currency methods
- Around 100k Spark DPS at gem level 21 with roughly 89% crit, rising to 93% while mapping
- The resonance loop solves mana without a dedicated stacking investment
Cons
- Explicitly not recommended for Expedition without rebuilding as a mana stacker
- Heavy jewel and crit dependency — five sockets, all wanting double-crit rolls
- Remnants of Algor needs runic ward, which is an extra sourcing problem
- Week-one gear is already deep into rare crafting territory; this is not a fresh-character setup
Key Skills
- Spark — the only damage skill, level 21 with Vilenta’s Propulsion, Pinpoint Critical, Pierce and Zenith
- Frost Bomb — cold exposure and the primary resonance generator
- Orb of Storms — Unleash plus Cast on Critical to keep pressure up passively
- Comet (Cast on Critical) — carried mostly for cold resonance rather than its own damage
- Elemental Weakness — Cursed Ground plus Magnified Area for the curse footprint
Gear & Anointments
Dwelling Wand with double gain-as-damage, +5 lightning, cast speed and elemental damage; the creator wanted spell damage instead and says so. Call of the Brotherhood topaz ring is the conversion linchpin. Amulet is +4 spells with spirit, cast speed and spell damage, anointed with Dominion. Maligaro’s Gloves are used partly because removing evasion is the easiest route to runic ward on a build that does not want evasion anyway.
Body armour carries energy shield, spirit and double resistances; helmet wants energy shield with T1 crit and a cost-efficiency soul core. Rite of Passage with Primate adds 60% increased chill/freeze buildup and 80% increased damage, with all hit damage contributing to chill magnitude.
Endgame Notes
Planned upgrades are all in the mana-stacker direction: a wand with +1 to all spells and mana, a chaos palm, mana on the focus in place of cold damage, a ring with 30% mana cost efficiency, and gloves with mana pierce plus +2 projectiles. Mageblood or Headhunter is the final belt decision, depending on whether the build commits to rarity farming.
