[PoE2] 0.5.4 Screen-Wiping Snipe Gemling Build Guide (feat. DS Lily) — Mercenary Gemling Legionnaire

Overview

This bow Gemling Legionnaire is built around Snipe. Gemling’s extra gem quality lengthens the Perfect Timing window on supported skills and adds attack speed, so Snipe can be fired quickly and comfortably without the usual timing pressure. The setup is adapted from DS Lily’s version of the build.

While mapping, Snipe is used as short taps of roughly half a second to one second rather than held continuously, with dodge rolls spawning Mirage copies to help clear. When a large pack appears, a single Tornado Shot handles it. Bosses are even simpler: lay Tornado Shot in front of the target, then fire Snipe. The build runs Berserk, so life drains over time and Snipe usage is paired with flasks to recover.

The budget weapon is a crafted 3-socket bow chosen for DPS; a rare bow with high DPS, skill levels and extra-arrow chance is the high end but very expensive. Other notable pieces:

Helmet — ES or evasion base, uncorrupted so it can take an Instilled notable
Morior Invictus body armour with resistances, defences and spirit per socket
Gloves — evasion/ES with flat damage, projectile skill levels and attack speed
Amulet — must carry Eternal Path as its granted skill
Mageblood belt and an Ultimate Life Flask for Perfect Timing synergy; Lavianga’s mana flask
Jewels — Split Personality, Megalomaniac, Time-Lost Emerald and Heart of the Well
