Overview

This is the fourth and final part of NoblE’s Oracle Grim Pillar totem series. The build places Grim Pillar totems and runs Mind Over Matter, so maximum mana adds to both damage and survival. The creator had considered moving on to a full mana-stacking version but stopped here, because running into mana-draining monsters while farming Expedition made that version painful. At this stage, the creator says, the build already handles every piece of content with plenty of damage and mobility.

Most of the part-four changes are about speed. A belt that permanently grants Silver and Quicksilver effects raises cast speed and movement speed a lot. Walking is now faster than the old sprint, and sprinting reaches about 160% movement speed. A helmet allocation gives Arcane Intensity for free, and the six tree points that used to reach it now go into energy shield, movement speed and a little area of effect.

Moving that fast brought a new problem: getting knocked down in a pack and dying. To fix it, a retaliation defensive skill that stacks up to seven times and strikes back when you are hit was added, with Knockback, Execute, a freeze support, cold penetration and a damage support. It freezes and slows attackers and does enough damage to kill most of them.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Very fast mapping once the Silver and Quicksilver belt is in place
  • Mind Over Matter and maximum mana give both damage and tankiness
  • The retaliation setup protects you when you get knocked down
  • Earlier part-three gear keeps working; the upgrades are optional

Cons

  • The creator’s own gear is expensive, with high-end rune-only mods
  • Spirit balance across weapon sets 1 and 2 (about 345 and 347) has to be set up carefully
  • Pulling totems while moving fast can still leave you exposed without the defensive layer

Key Skills

  • Grim Pillar (Spell Totem) — the main damage source
  • Retaliation defensive skill — stacks when hit and punishes attackers, adding freeze and knockback
  • Mana Remnants — sustain for the mana pool
  • Archmage — used on both weapon sets
  • Elemental Weakness / Desecrate — debuff layer, now toggled on only one weapon set

Gear & Anointments

Wand and gloves are unchanged. Rings use a base that raises maximum mana, with missing resistances and cast speed in the other slots. The body armour trades spirit for maximum mana. That mod needs a specific expensive rune, so energy shield or spirit bodies are fine. The amulet keeps +3 spell skills, spirit, spell damage and cast speed with the efficient-inscription allocation. For the Silver and Quicksilver belt, the creator recommends buying one with at least 45% increased effect, and warns that the effect percentage only applies when at least one charm type repeats. Anyone who followed the part-three setup can keep their gear and only add the belt and the helmet allocation.

Endgame Notes

For more damage, the creator suggests Voices to open extra jewel sockets for more sapphires or a Megalomaniac. The Path of Building link in the video covers the weapon-set 1 and 2 checks.
