Overview
This Stormweaver pairs Spark as the primary clear skill with a stack of layered spell pressure: Elemental Storm, two trigger setups (Cast on Critical and Cast on Elemental Ailment), Sigil of Power, and Mana Tempest. Spark does the screen-filling work — projectiles spread through packs from several angles while the character stays mobile at range — and the rest of the kit converts that constant stream of hits into extra Comets, Arcs and storm damage.
The identity is a ranged lightning caster that manages damage windows rather than just holding one button. Mapping is Spark plus a dropped Elemental Storm, while rares and bosses get the full sequence: Elemental Weakness curse, Sigil of Power under the target, Mana Tempest for burst, and Spark kept firing so the triggers keep procing. Frost Bomb adds exposure, and Mana Remnants keeps mana stable in longer fights.
The creator scores it highest on mapping and screen coverage, with strong scaling into endgame through spell damage, lightning damage, critical stats and mana investment.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Excellent screen coverage — Spark pierces and spreads through whole packs
- Layered damage sources (triggers, storm, sigil, tempest) rather than a single skill
- Comfortable ranged playstyle that keeps you out of melee range
- Scales well with crit, spell damage and mana investment into the endgame
- Solid starting foundation for a fresh league according to the creator
Cons
- Needs setup: damage zones and burst windows must be managed well
- Cast on Critical consistency depends on reaching enough critical chance
- Mana sustain has to be solved or the build feels inconsistent
- Still a caster — positioning matters against bosses
Key Skills
- Spark — main clear and damage skill, supported for crit, pierce and projectile scaling (the creator runs Rakiata’s Flow here)
- Elemental Storm — Stormweaver area damage tool, supported with Unleash, Magnified Area and Cooldown Recovery
- Cast on Critical — triggers Comet and Spell Cascade for burst on crits
- Cast on Elemental Ailment — triggers Arc for extra lightning pressure
- Sigil of Power + Mana Tempest — the burst window for rares, elites and bosses
Gear & Anointments
Prioritise lightning and spell damage, cast speed, critical chance, mana sustain, projectile scaling, area of effect and cooldown recovery, then defensive layers. Support gems named by the creator include Rakiata’s Flow, Xopec’s Refrain, Vornostra’s Stage and Sione’s Temper; specific uniques and anointments are to be confirmed against the source video and the linked Planner build.
Endgame Notes
Save Sigil of Power and Mana Tempest for real threats instead of weak packs, curse rares and tanky ritual enemies with Elemental Weakness, and keep Mana Remnants up during long boss fights.
