Overview
This is a zone-by-zone campaign route rather than an endgame showcase: it walks a Spirit Walker Huntress from the first skill gem in Act 1 all the way to the end of the interlude, naming the exact quest rewards, league-mechanic drops and vendor checks that keep the character funded along the way. The through-line is a hybrid spear-and-companion setup — Twister carries early clear while the tamed beasts pick up the slack, and the passive tree leans on plus-to-minion-level gear from helmet, sceptre and amulet.
The opening act uses Parry into Fang of Frost to generate chilled ground, with Ice Nova offered as an alternative for anyone who does not want to manage Parry timing. From there the route layers in Frost Bomb for exposure, Whirling Slash for melee pressure, and eventually Ice Arrow plus Barrage around level 14. Two weapon sets are maintained throughout: a fast-attack-speed spear on set two for Twister, and a high-damage spear on set one, with the sceptre control-clicked so its minion levels apply to both.
What makes the route worth following is how much of it is bookkeeping the average player skips — which chest gives which uncut gem, which boss hands out permanent buffs, and where to spend the first Lesser Jeweller’s Orb so it is not wasted on a gem you will disenchant later.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Extremely low gear pressure: transmutes and augments on flat damage carry the whole campaign
- Companions do the work when clear speed dips, so the route tolerates bad drops
- Names every permanent-buff pickup (spirit, life, resistances, mana) instead of leaving them to chance
- Includes vendor-check regex targets per town so upgrades are found, not stumbled into
- Ascendancy points are spent on Natural Order and Wild Protector, both of which directly add companions
Cons
- Early clear speed with companions alone is admitted to be poor, which is why Twister is kept
- Parry adds a timing layer some players will not enjoy; the workaround costs an extra character reroll
- The route is a leveling guide only — it stops at the end of the campaign with no endgame mapping plan
- Requires attention to item levels (2 for sceptre, 5 for helmet and amulet) to hit plus-minion rolls
Key Skills
- Twister — the primary spear clear skill for the whole campaign, taken from the first Act 1 uncut gem
- Whirling Slash — melee pressure supported by Rage and Rapid Attacks
- Frost Bomb — applies exposure and enables cold infusion off Fang of Frost
- Tame Beast — unlocked at level 22, used first on Ratbreaker or Scrollbells, later on the Mighty Silverfist and a haste-aura rare
- Ice Arrow / Barrage — the level-14 ranged package on weapon set one for tougher single targets
Gear & Anointments
The itemisation is a hybrid split: flat damage on rings, gloves and spear, plus-one-minion on helmet, sceptre and amulet. Two spears are maintained — a fast one for Twister and a high-damage one for everything else. Runes and charms come from the standard quest rewards (Renly for runes, Finn for the sapphire charm), and the guide leans on transmutation plus augmentation on white bases rather than any unique. Specific endgame uniques and anointments are not covered by this video; consult the source for the exact per-act vendor regexes.
