Overview
This Stormweaver pairs Spark with Comet and is built around a power-charge buff granted by the wand. Each consumed power charge gives a large elemental damage bonus while the buff timer runs. Without the buff the damage drops sharply, so the whole setup is designed to keep it running.
The loop is to drop an infusion, use Firestorm to turn elemental infusions into power charges, then consume them to activate the buff. The main trick is infinite infusions: an elemental siphon skill leaves a remnant whenever you apply an ailment, and the Stormweaver notable makes a collected infusion reappear three seconds later. While you are killing things you recycle infusions constantly, and refreshing the buff becomes a quick habit instead of a stop-and-set-up routine.
The creator describes three budget tiers. The low tier starts from about five divines, and the medium and high tiers add jewels such as From Nothing and Heart of the Well. The build is presented as one that can farm the main content comfortably and pay for its own upgrades along the way.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Handles almost all content with little difficulty once the buff loop is running
- Infusion recycling keeps the power-charge buff up without long setup pauses
- A clear low / medium / high budget path, starting around five divines
- A mana-stacking defence through Eldritch Battery and damage taken from mana
Cons
- If the buff drops, damage falls hard and you can die to ordinary monsters
- Several active buffs and infusions to manage, so it is not a one-button build
- The Archon-uptime amulet anoint is expensive and only worth it at a higher budget
Key Skills
- Spark — main clear, with the Arbiter-style support that grants Elemental Archon on ignite
- Comet — heavy hits boosted by fire infusions from a Living Bomb setup
- Firestorm — converts infusions into power charges
- Frost Bomb — generates the first infusions to start the loop
- Archmage and Mana Remnants — damage and sustain from the mana pool
Gear & Anointments
- Wand with the power-charge skill: maximum mana, cast speed and the +1 power charge roll
- Maligaro’s gloves with as much crit chance as possible
- A spirit sceptre in the off-hand with at least 151 spirit (the build needs about 250 total)
- A unique body armour that takes part of the damage from mana before life, plus Eldritch Battery
- Mana and resistance rings; the amulet needs +2 or +3 spell skills, and an Archon-uptime anoint for the high-budget version
- Ascendancy: the infusion-reappear notable is mandatory, along with gaining a different infusion on pickup and the arcane surge nodes
Endgame Notes
The creator farms rituals and bosses with it. Early on, a sceptre swap and ritual sigils help on bosses, but the finished version no longer needs them. A low-budget passive tree is linked in the guide.
