Overview
Wolf Form on an Amazon is an off-meta league starter that trades comfort for tempo. It is melee, it is button-heavy, and it is explicitly not the safe pick — the creator opens by saying so. What it buys in return is offence that scales hard on cheap accuracy rating, and a freeze-lock loop where most things, packs and pinnacle bosses alike, die before they thaw.
The Amazon ascendancy is the reason the numbers work. Accuracy rating on a talisman converts into increased physical damage and critical hit chance, and the ascendancy doubles evasion rating on gloves, boots and helmet. That last point forces an unusual defensive shape: because Amazon destroys evasion rating on the body armour slot specifically, the chest goes energy shield while the other three slots carry the doubled evasion. Evasion plus energy shield plus permanent freeze is the whole defensive package.
Cost of entry is genuinely low. Offence scales quickly without a currency dump, which is what makes an off-meta melee build viable as a starter at all — you are not waiting on a unique to turn the build on.
