Overview
This is an endgame refit of the weaponless Hollow Palm Monk that trades the old build’s biggest weakness — anaemic single-target — for a setup that shreds pinnacle bosses while still clearing 200% Delirium maps. The whole identity shift hangs on a single skill swap: retiring Staggering Palm (a clear-only taxi) for Shattering Palm, which dashes into packs and coats enemies in ice shards that detonate on hit.
The engine underneath is a self-sustaining loop. Shattering Palm and the Eventide Pedals amulet blanket the screen in ice crystals, the Tempest Bell’s shockwaves instantly detonate them, and Living Lightning pops the leftovers while you run. Against a boss you simply drop the Bell and shotgun repeated Shattering Palm hits into it — the creator melts a 9.5-million-health Uber in a handful of frames without even running a curse.
Crucially, this version stops babysitting itself. A Revenant of Phantasm helmet lets you anoint Thaumaturge Dynamism, which hands out power and frenzy charges automatically based on your highest attribute, so Killing Blow and the manual charge upkeep are gone. Charge Regulation then converts that endless charge pile into permanent crit and skill-speed buffs.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Massive single-target: Bell + Shattering Palm shotgun deletes 9.5M-HP Ubers in seconds
- Clears 200% Delirium maps effortlessly via chained ice-crystal explosions
- Fully automated charge generation — no more Killing Blow upkeep
- Extremely tanky after the gear swaps (armour, evasion, energy shield, guard, block)
- Refund from the old version is trivial — the passive tree pathing is unchanged
Cons
- Endgame-only upgrade: leans on 100+ divine anoints and a stack of uniques
- Chaos resistance is painful to cap — lingering chaos ground is the main killer
- Relies on a Blasphemy/Living Lightning interaction the creator admits may get patched
- Screen-noise from your own explosions can obscure boss telegraphs
Key Skills
- Shattering Palm — melee dash that coats packs in detonating ice shards; the new clear + single-target core
- Tempest Bell — shockwaves that instantly detonate ice shards, driving the boss-shotgun loop
- Tempest Flurry — high-speed bare-handed attack kept in weapon set one for movement and ramp
- Living Lightning — auto-pops your Eventide crystals and prints extra charges while mapping
- Refutation — block/parry skill that turns incoming boss hits into a 50% more-damage buff
Gear & Anointments
Damage comes from anointing Thaumaturge Dynamism (via a Revenant of Phantasm helmet) for automatic charges — the anoint runs 100+ divines, so budget players can place it on the amulet instead for a little less power. Defence pivots on Loreweave and Victario’s on the chest plus Degree of Flight boots for stacked armour/evasion/energy-shield and dodge-guard, with Repudiation for block. Rare gloves through the Way of the Stone Fist node out-damage the old unique gloves thanks to +1 to melee skills and 10% quality. Head Hunter is a pure luxury pick; the Ingenuity belt does the job otherwise. Confirm exact item rolls against the source video.
Endgame Notes
The build feasts in 200% Delirium and one-shots pinnacle bosses like Uber Zana even without elemental weakness applied. The one real outstanding weakness is chaos: run a chaos-resist ring plus a Forsaken Bangle charm to become “chaos survivable” (not immune, since it skips Chaos Inoculation). Garin’s Storm and Hand of Shahrazad were both tested and dropped — Garin’s is now a coin-flip tied to Tempest Bind, and Hand of Shahrazad’s ghost shrouds get between you and the boss.
