Overview
This build turns a towering mana pool into raw slam damage, built entirely around the new 0.5 unique mace Twisted Empyrean. The weapon adds cold damage equal to a percentage of your maximum mana, so instead of chasing weapon rolls you stack mana — north of 3,600 — and let every slam land with an enormous chunk of base cold damage on top of its physical hit.
The payoff is a Titan that deletes pinnacle bosses. The creator frames it not in damage-per-second but in bosses-per-second, claiming it can one-shot any pinnacle boss in the game. Clear is a bonus rather than the point: slams trigger cascading explosions and shatters that make mapping feel satisfying, but the reason to build this is single-target obliteration.
It leans hard on unique synergy. Rotblood’s Globe (the Vaal version) grants “spells deal increased damage per 100 maximum mana/life,” and Crown of Eyes makes all that spell scaling apply to your attacks — converting the mana pool into a second, massive damage multiplier for your slams.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- One-shots pinnacle bosses — arguably top-tier single-target in 0.5
- Twisted Empyrean’s high base crit chance makes crit scaling easy and cheap in multiplier terms
- Fist of War (via Ancestral Improvement of Sentinel) auto-boosts every second slam with no 14-second wait
- Satisfying clear with constant explosions and shatter feedback
Cons
- Heavily unique-dependent (Twisted Empyrean, Vaal Rotblood’s Globe, Crown of Eyes) — poor league starter
- Vaal-corrupted Rotblood’s Globe with the right mod is a gamble to acquire
- Mana-stacking gearing is unforgiving; the whole engine falls apart without a huge mana pool
Key Skills
- Slam skills (Twisted Empyrean) — primary damage, scaling cold off maximum mana
- Fist of War (support) — 60% more damage multiplier once Titan halves its cooldown via Ancestral boosting
- Crit scaling — the weapon’s high base crit makes critical hit chance/damage the core multiplier axis
Gear & Anointments
The weapon is non-negotiable: Twisted Empyrean mace. Pair it with Crown of Eyes (spell damage applies to attacks) and a Vaal Rotblood’s Globe rolled with the per-100-mana/life spell damage mods. The Titan ascendancy is chosen for its slam synergy — Ancestral Improvement of Sentinel auto-boosts every second slam. Remaining rare slots should pile on maximum mana, crit chance, and crit damage. Specific rare rolls and anoints to be confirmed against the source video.
Endgame Notes
This is an endgame boss-deletion build first and foremost — the intended use is pinnacle encounters where the mana-scaled slam can burst a boss in one or two hits.
