Overview

This build leans the Gemling Legionnaire into a dual-mace Sunder bruiser that wins through sheer sustain rather than a big life pool. The whole package is built around a leech-tank identity: stack an absurd amount of evasion until deflection sits at 95%, then over-leech so hard with Leech Life support that incoming damage simply can’t keep up. The result is a character that face-tanks pinnacle content while perma-stunning everything in front of it.

The creator’s second-pass revision drops the earlier Herald of Blood and ward layers in favour of stun scaling through Perfect Opportunity and the Devastation cluster, turning Sunder’s hits into a constant stun-lock. Branching Fissures handles clear, while the leech-and-deflection backbone keeps survivability honest even against the Arbiter of Divinity. At level 92 it sits squarely in min-max territory — the foundation is finished and the remaining gains are incremental.

This is a confident endgame farmer: cruise through maps, eviscerate packs via stun, and stand in boss mechanics that would delete a squishier build.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Extreme survivability from over-leech plus ~95% deflection — can face-tank the Arbiter of Divinity
  • Branching Fissures gives strong, wide map clear
  • Heavy stun buildup perma-stuns rares and packs
  • Forgiving to play once geared — described as a “no-brainer” farmer

Cons

  • Gear-gated: relies on divine-tier chest, good maces, and runes to come online
  • Not a fresh-league starter — the showcased version is level 92 and min-maxed
  • Wants well-rolled maces (+3/+4 melee, stun buildup, attack speed) for full damage
  • Damage ceiling is “good enough” rather than top-tier; further gains are marginal

Key Skills

  • Sunder — main attack, scaled with Rapid Attacks, Rage, and Ati’s Bloodletting
  • Branching Fissures — bolts onto Sunder for screen-wide clear
  • Leech Life (lvl 3) — the survivability engine; over-leeches past the health pool
  • Hammer of the Gods — Jagged Ground application and burst
  • Overwhelming Presence — replaces Herald of Blood to push stun and aura magnitude

Gear & Anointments

Dual maces are the core: aim for +3 (ideally +4) to melee skills, attack speed, stun buildup, and flat damage, with damage runes where sockets allow. The chest is a high-evasion piece (the creator slammed a divine for the result), supported by greater iron runes and Techrod’s Gaze for added defence. Constricting Command, Forsaken Bangle, and Fall of the Axe round out the kit for onslaught and utility. Prism of Belief supplies a cheap +2 to Sunder. Specific top-end uniques and perfect runes are min-max targets to confirm against the source video.

Endgame Notes

The build is presented as a finished endgame farmer — it tanks the Arbiter of Divinity outright and clears maps at speed. Remaining upgrades are pure min-max: better-crafted maces, an empowerment unique, Trample Toes for clear, and reclaiming a few now-redundant herald-related passive points.
