Overview
Spearfield Spirit Walker is a fast, aggressive spear build that never fights alone. Spearfield delivers the main close-to-mid-range spear damage, Vivid Stampede (the Spirit Walker ascendancy skill) adds mobility and lightning area pressure, and a companion package led by Wild Protector plus skeletal warriors, snipers and clerics splits enemy attention while contributing damage.
Mapping is where the build shines — the guide gives it 5/5 there, with 4/5 for league start, bossing and scaling. Single-target is handled by Sniper’s Mark on rares and bosses, Enfeeble for defensive curse coverage, and Wind Dancer for extra defence and sustain.
It is aimed at players who want a momentum-based Spirit Walker with strong map flow and are comfortable keeping several buffs, marks and allies active at once.
Pros & Cons
Pros

- Companions and skeletons draw aggro and add damage, making the build feel safer
- Sniper’s Mark gives focused damage on rares, elites and bosses
- Life leech and mana leech keep sustain stable in longer fights
- Works early — spear attacks, companions and mobility are useful from the start
Cons
- Demands uptime: damage drops if you stop attacking, marking or re-summoning allies
- Needs attack speed, leech and companion scaling before it feels fully smooth
- Many moving parts (marks, curses, companions) to manage
- Boss damage depends on positioning and keeping the mark up

- Wild Protector — primary companion with Hulking Minions, Muster, Rage and Loyalty, backed by Skeletal Warrior, Sniper and Cleric

- Enfeeble / Wind Dancer — defensive curse and defensive support with Culling Strike and Mana Leech
Gear & Anointments
Prioritise attack speed, spear and physical damage, rage generation, companion damage and survivability, mark effect, cooldown recovery, leech and defensive layers. A better spear is the biggest single upgrade. Specific uniques and anointments are to be confirmed against the source video and the linked PoB.
Endgame Notes
On bosses, keep Sniper’s Mark applied, keep companions alive, stay mobile and attack during safe windows. Use Enfeeble when packs or bosses hit too hard.
