Strategy
Patch 0.5.3 adjusted how league mechanics roll inside maps and, importantly, made Simulacrum Splinters much easier to farm through Delirium. This is a budget-friendly Simulacrum Splinter strategy built around running Delirium maps to accumulate splinters — 300 splinters combine into a Simulacrum — while collecting raw currency, Grand Mirrors, and extra Atlas content along the way.
The payoff is twofold. You can simply sell the Simulacrums (around three divines each at time of recording) or run them yourself chasing the Voices jewel, whose four-passive variant is one of the most expensive items in the game (nearly 1,000 divines unidentified). Because players will always chase Voices, Simulacrums hold their value even as they get easier to obtain — which is what makes this farm durable.
Over a tested ~50-map, 4–5 hour session the creator pulled 31 divines in raw currency plus 26 Simulacrums and 73 loose splinters — roughly one Simulacrum every two maps, or about 70+ divines of Simulacrum value on top of the raw drops.
Atlas Tree & Setup
Max out your Delirium atlas tree before starting — the Simulacrum Splinter node is mandatory or you will get no splinters. Take Recurring Nightmares as your top pick. For Atlas Masters, run Jato with unexpected missions (you will be using corrupted T15 waystones), Eastern Knowledge for better Vaal/Verisium encounters, and Unforeseen Threads for more Anomaly maps. - Big bonus drops: Grand Mirrors appear frequently on these maps, and revealing Cleanse zones / Anomaly maps gives more currency afterward.
- Splinter yield is heavily map-dependent — linear corridor maps (Ravine, Bluff) are best.
Step-by-step
- Max your Delirium atlas tree, including the Simulacrum Splinter node.
- Set Atlas Masters: Jato (unexpected missions), Eastern Knowledge, Unforeseen Threads.
- Corrupt T15 waystones and run Delirium on every map.
- Prioritize Bluff towers — they reliably yield ~300 splinters per run.
- Bank splinters into Simulacrums (300 each); sell them or run them for the Voices jewel.
- Mop up the revealed Grand Mirrors, Cleanse zones, and Anomaly maps for extra currency.
Risks
- Because the strat uses Jato, you can’t pick your maps — splinter yield swings between ~40 (bad maps) and 300 (Bluff) per run.
- Simulacrum price has softened as the farm got easier; treat ~3 div each as the floor, not a guarantee.
- Running 200% Delirium and Anomaly content demands a build that can survive heavy on-death effects.
