Strategy

This short guide argues for running Wildwood (Sacred Blossom) instead of Delirium fog to juice maps. The two cannot overlap on the same map. The Wildwood wins on time: you skip spreading Delirium, and a Sacred Blossom costs very little (around 15 exalted at recording). Wisp collection is somewhat random, but even a moderate haul gives drop rates the creator finds comparable to Delirium.

The Wildwood entrance sits right at the start of the map. Inside it is dark, and you collect wisp dust by following trails. The area ends based on how much ground you have lit up, not on a timer, so there is no need to rush.

Atlas Tree & Setup

  • Apply a Sacred Blossom to the map on the Atlas; city-type maps are the creator’s preference for real runs
  • The Wildwood layout is the same every time; only the starting point and the wisp trails change
  • Specific atlas passives to confirm against the source video

Investment & Returns

  • Investment: low (about 15 exalted per Blossom at recording)
  • Returns: mid, with loot comparable to Delirium-juiced maps with less setup time
  • Example run: about 2,300 rarity wisps and 3,900 extra-modifier wisps carried back into the map

Step-by-step

  1. Apply a Sacred Blossom and enter the map; walk forward and the Wildwood entrance appears
  2. Follow purple wisps first, then go back to the dense patches for yellow
  3. Grab the light-restoring wisps whenever you pass them
  4. If the trail disappears, walk back the way you came, without lighting new ground, and try the opposite direction
  5. When the area signals it is ending, sweep up the remaining dust before leaving
  6. Walk into any unlit edge to exit. There’s no need to go back to the portal

Priority: orange > purple > yellow > blue. Always take orange when you see it. Purple adds item rarity, yellow adds monster modifiers, blue turns normals into magic monsters, and orange can turn monsters into bosses.

Risks

  • Wisp collection is random, so some runs give much less
  • Skill effects can hide the dust trails. Move slowly
  • Cannot be combined with Delirium on the same map
  • Every colour also increases monster damage and damage reduction
