Strategy

This guide covers three low-budget, beginner-friendly farming methods that reliably turn a profit without expensive tablet investment. The overarching philosophy is simple: stop over-optimizing and just play — the biggest mistake is agonizing over the perfect strategy instead of running maps. All three methods are cheap to start and almost guaranteed to make currency, making them ideal for players easing into the farming endgame.

A key prerequisite applies to all three: finish your Atlas passive tree first. Farming seriously before the Atlas tree is complete leaves a huge amount of value on the table. The creator also recommends unlocking the Yaddo mastery for every one of these methods, as it gives the most flexibility and Atlas vision for the investment.

Atlas Tree & Setup

Method 1 — Expedition (free league mechanic). Once Kingsmarch is unlocked you can run Expedition map to map. Focus on the Grand Heist remnant encounters, scout the runic remnants to spot the big payouts, and dig out the bright underground spots which often hide chests and bosses. It costs essentially nothing — no mandatory tablets — and is very relaxed, making it great for slower or low-AoE characters. Optionally add Irradiated tablets rolled with Monster Effectiveness or Increased Rarity.

Method 2 — Breach Hive-Blood farm. Run 3–4 tablets with Increased Quantity of Hive-Blood Found (aim for 50%+ on each in city areas) plus the Womp-Gift quantity mod. Don’t focus on the map itself — just blast every Breach, kill the boss, move on. Roughly 100,000 Hive-Blood fills in 8–10 maps.

Method 3 — Tablet farm. Farm Tablets to sell to heavy investors and groups using Irradiated tablets rolled purely with Increased Quantity of Wastestones Found. Run as much of the Atlas as possible and pre-circle cities to prepare them for other methods later.

Investment & Returns

  • Investment: low · Returns: mid (steady, near-guaranteed profit) · scales up with pricier tablets if desired
  • Expedition is effectively free; Breach and Tablet farms need only cheap, easily-bought tablets that pay for themselves

Step-by-step

  1. Complete your Atlas passive tree before committing to farming.
  2. Unlock the Yaddo mastery for Atlas flexibility.
  3. Pick a method that matches your character and mood — don’t overthink it.
  4. For Breach: spend Hive-Blood in the Genesis tree on Currency / Currency Womp-Gifts first; treat minion belts and jewelry as a lottery.
  5. Run more maps rather than perfecting a single one — volume beats micro-optimizing.

Risks

  • Expedition payouts are a gamble per map; profit averages out over many maps, not every run
  • Breach jewelry drops (minion belts etc.) are a lottery — invest in guaranteed currency instead
  • Premium tablets can cost 20–30 Divine each; stick to low-budget rolls to stay safe
