Strategy

This is an updated high-end Abyss currency strategy for 0.5, rebuilt because Advances and Jamanra were changed/nerfed and new Delirium Mirror tech now lets you juice city maps even higher than before. The premise is simple but demanding: run fully-juiced Abyss rares on city maps, stack maximum rarity and Delirium, and harvest Omens of Light (a rarity-scaled drop) alongside divines, raw currency and uniques. On a good city map you can expect around 30 divines of items, and the creator’s best single map dropped 45–50 divines.

This is explicitly a high-investment, high-difficulty strat — the maps are hard and require a strong character. If you are newer to endgame, the creator’s earlier, cheaper Abyss video is the better starting point.

Atlas Tree & Setup

You need the full Abyss tree and the full Delirium tree completed. On the Abyss tree, Amanamu is mandatory — it is what makes Omens of Light spawn — and take the node giving abyssal monsters increased effectiveness per closed pit (up to 100%), plus the “rare monster packs / +50% chance for additional rare monsters” node. Biomes: run Forest (rare monsters), Grass (monster effectiveness) and Mountain (rarity) — avoid Desert, because Survival of the Fittest currently breaks the Abyss strat there.

For masters, you mostly run Hilda (Breeding Season, Dangerous Game, the mandatory Ancient Inscriptions for +tablet effect per different tablet, and Claim Territories). Swap to Jamanra only on the three bad layouts for Abyss — Necropolis, Mineshaft and Channel — using Unexpected Missions and Partial Translations there. The full written tree and per-node detail live on the creator’s Maxroll/notepad linked in the video.

Investment & Returns

  • Investment: high · Returns: ~30 divines of items per good city map (best map 45–50 div), averaging roughly one Omen of Light per map
  • Scales hard with rarity (Omens of Light are a rarity drop) and with how fully you juice tablets and waystones; cheaper two-mod tablets work but cut into yield significantly

Step-by-step

  1. Run city maps so the four-tablet atlas node applies; use one Abyss unique tablet, one Irradiated, one Overseer (or Val Temple for a cheaper option) and one Breach.
  2. Roll every tablet with “two additional random map modifiers” and “increased number of rare monsters”, plus a third premium mod (pack size, monster rarity, or rarity of items found).
  3. Roll waystones to four mods, use a single Exalt to reach five modifiers, activate chaotic rarity/effectiveness/quantity, then Chaos orb for guaranteed 13% monster rarity; Exalt the last mod (rarity is best). Save these for the juiciest maps.
  4. Bring a character with at least 100% rarity (150% optimal).
  5. Use the Delirium Mirror tech: run the outer city maps with three Delirium tablets to spawn Grand Mirrors, which (via the Delirium tree’s double-tablet-effect node) land inside the city for the insanely juiced runs.
  6. Complete every outer map first so the Delirium fog is forced onto the central city, near-guaranteeing full coverage.

Risks

  • Maps are very hard and require a strong, well-built character — deaths eat your investment
  • High up-front cost in tablets (often ~10 divines each) and rolled waystones
  • Yield depends on current Omen of Light prices; if they crash, Breach can become the better strat
  • Desert biome currently breaks the strategy — do not take Survival of the Fittest if your atlas isn’t finished
