Strategy
This is a cheap, multi-mechanic map-farming strategy built around Abyss but layering in several other 0.5 Atlas mechanics for compounding value. The creator reports averaging more than two divines per map, and a sample 20-map run that produced roughly 80 divines of income (including lucky drops) off only about two divines of investment. The core idea is to stack Abyss with everything that synergises with it rather than over-juicing a single mechanic.
Abyss is the centrepiece: by running an Abyss tablet plus Atlas notables that boost Abyss coverage, you get more pits per map. Rogue Exiles are added so they respawn inside the Abyss and drop Granulated Orbs and Heart of the Vaal Diamond jewels — and a 0.5 Atlas notable gives those jewels a 5% chance to roll with five mods instead of four, which alone sells for two or three divines. Strongboxes (especially fully juiced Researcher’s boxes), Spirits, Shrines, and Expedition round out the package, each adding rare-drop multipliers or valuable currency.
The Amanamu faction is chosen because it can drop expensive Omens (Omen of Light, Omen of Echoes) that sell quickly for extra profit.
Atlas Tree & Setup
Fill the whole tree, but the key notable choices are: Seeking Shrine (item rarity), Vivid Spirits (the valuable yellow spirits), Ruin essences (chaos res), powerful summoning-circle bosses, Ruiner’s Desires (Abyss-influenced Heart of the Veil jewels), Overlord’s Domain strongboxes, Purified wisps (sacred wisp chance), and Favor the Villain (shrine buffs apply to the map boss for huge rare drops). On the Abyss sub-tree, take Lord of the Pit proliferation, Wild Treasure omens, and Balance of Power (Amanamu). Master is Jadou’s spycraft with Eastern Knowledge / Untold Histories. Investment & Returns
- Investment: low — about two divines for 20 maps (the extra-Abyss tablet mod is the main cost)
- Returns: high — ~2.6 divines/map without lucky drops, ~4/map with them; ~58 divine baseline over 20 maps
- Scales with item rarity on the Waystone: the creator targets 30-40% rarity on six-mod maps
Step-by-step
- Set the Atlas faction to Amanamu and fill the tree per the notables above.
- Roll six-mod Waystones with 30-40% item rarity (drop to five mods for an extra revive if you feel unsafe).
- Run an Abyss tablet (the must-have mod is “map contains an additional Abyss”), plus an elevated tablet and an overseer tablet for the empowered map boss.
- Open every Abyss fully and kill the Rogue Exiles that spawn inside for Granulated Orbs and Heart of the Vaal jewels.
- Fully juice Researcher’s Strongboxes (and any spirit-possessed box) with Exalted Orbs before opening.
- Do every Expedition, Shrine, and Spirit encounter, then the empowered map boss; sell Omens, jewels, Lucky boxes, and tablets.
Risks
- Six-mod juiced maps demand a reasonably tanky build; drop to five mods if you die
- A large share of the headline 80-divine result came from lucky drops (two Omen of Light, a five-mod jewel) — baseline is closer to ~2.6/map
- Many moving mechanics per map means slower clears than a single-mechanic strategy
- Requires the 0.5 Atlas notables unlocked to hit the quoted numbers
