Strategy
This farm combines Azmerian spirits with strongboxes to snowball a single Sacred Spirit into a map full of possessed monsters. The loop is simple: clear every rare monster in the map, guide the Sacred Spirit into a strongbox, roll that strongbox as far as it will go, then open it (with a key, so it can be opened a second time) and kill everything that spawns. Each opening duplicates the Sacred Spirit and can create brand-new spirit types; repeat across every strongbox in the map until you run out.
The engine is two atlas notables: Quickened Flow gives possessed monsters a chance to release a spirit on death, and the Sacred spirit notable makes anything possessed by a Sacred Spirit also pick up a random extra spirit. Together they make spirits multiply box after box, which is where the famous “one monster with a ridiculous stack of spirits” loot explosions come from.
The Sacred Spirit is the whole point — it is the only spirit that can add other spirit types. Without one you can still guide normal spirits into boxes, but the returns are far lower. It suits players who can already clear T15 maps comfortably and are willing to buy tablets.
Atlas Tree & Setup
- Tablets: the key mods are “area with powerful map bosses contains additional strongboxes or Azmerian spirits” (up to +2) and “map contains an additional strongbox or Azmerian spirit” (+1). Pair them with increased number of rare monsters (preferred) or increased monster rarity.
- Recommended minimum: two 2-0 strongbox tablets and two 2-0 spirit tablets with rare-monster mods. Avoid expensive 2-2 tablets until you understand the farm; 1-1 / 1-0 tablets work on a budget but find Sacred Spirits far less often.
- Maps: city maps, especially Azmorite City, which can be turned into a grass biome for about 50% more Sacred Spirit encounters.
- Overseer tablet + Overlord’s Influence adds an extra strongbox or spirit to powerful-boss areas (spirits for consistency, boxes for loot), and Hilda’s Claimed Territories roughly doubles that content.
- Take the atlas notes that let strongboxes roll additional modifiers.
- Avoid Worthy Hunter — it converts many Sacred encounters into the Cunning Fox, which eats other spirits and stunts multiplication. Atlas points currently cannot be refunded, so plan the tree before allocating.
- Ancient modifiers: with Spirit Migration use 2-1 strongbox tablets (plus Visions of Paradise to guarantee two Sacred-Spirit maps); with Monstrous Treasure use 2-1 spirit tablets, though a Sacred Spirit is still not guaranteed.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: mid — a steady supply of strongbox/spirit tablets, strongbox keys, chaos orbs for rerolling, and Omens of the Hunt
- Returns: high when a Sacred Spirit spawns and multiplies; much lower on maps without one
- Scaling: better tablets (2-1, 2-2), Overlord’s Influence + Hilda’s Claimed Territories, and juicing the map with Sacred Bloom (convenient) or Delirium (more loot, fussier — the two do not stack)
Step-by-step
- Run a city map with your strongbox and spirit tablets.
- Clear the whole map while scouting for spirits — do NOT walk into a spirit’s range yet, or it will possess a random rare. If you trigger the Sacred Spirit by accident, pop an Omen of the Hunt and clear around it carefully.
- Kill the boss, grab every checkpoint and make sure every rare monster is dead (use the minimap / rare counter).
- Return to the Sacred Spirit and guide it until it possesses a strongbox; guide any other spirits into other boxes.
- Reroll the strongboxes: chaos away any magic-monster-pack mod, and aim for +2 rare packs or +6–8 monster packs.
- Activate Omen of the Hunt, open the Sacred box with a key, and clear everything it spawns. Open it again and clear again.
- Repeat for every remaining strongbox, highest spirit count first.
Risks
- Heavily RNG-driven: even a map with a dozen spirits may contain no Sacred Spirit
- The first box opening is the riskiest step — skipping the Omen or leaving a magic-pack mod can kill the chain
- Large spirit stacks can make the server lag badly, especially with buried-strongbox expedition tablets
- A Worthy Hunter atlas is effectively bricked for this farm, and points cannot currently be refunded
