Strategy
This is a low-effort, high-uptime currency routine built around clearing Breach in the ocean travel maps that sit between Grand Expedition nodes on the Atlas. Rather than grinding slow, punishing 200% Delirium maps, the idea is to fly through cheap six-mod maps, pop the breaches, kill the map boss, and run the expedition in each one — then bounce back into a session of Grand Expeditions and repeat. It is deliberately chill and fast: nothing here is turbo-juiced, so you should be zooming.
The profit comes from two stacking sources. Breach hands drop Breach Blood, which fuels the Genesis crafting tree, and the expeditions themselves reliably pay out roughly a Divine or more per map on their own. Breach is profitable even at low investment, which makes this a forgiving filler farm you can run indefinitely between heavier sessions.
The real jackpot is the Genesis tree. Blood lets you craft caster rings — a +1 level of spell skills ring floors around 300–600 Divine (higher when non-fractured), and a Pneumonic base with +1 spell skills is a god-tier drop worth thousands. You are far more likely to hit one of these than to mirror-drop out of an expedition, so blood generation is the whole game.
Atlas Tree & Setup
Run ocean nodes between Grand Expeditions. On the expedition Atlas tree, take nearly every choice node (preferring the extra explosive over the extra remnant). For Cultivate the Sea, pick Swamp Mastery — its node giving exalted orbs a 10% chance to drop as chaos adds one to three chaos per map, and chaos is extremely valuable this patch. Under Chosen Path take Shrines and the Overlord’s Domain essence bonus (the fastest of the three options).
On the Genesis tree, run the currency branch up to Selectively Bred Vol Orbs plus Rebirth (chance not to consume High Blood), focusing entirely on the chaos-orb nodes rather than catalysts or Breachlord’s Sack. On the Breach side take Lavish for gifts, Shape the Chains → Empower Rares (30% increased effectiveness on rare breach monsters), and Sign Wound Gifts if you want to gamble rings.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: low — cheap castoff six-mod maps and triple rare tablets; no expensive juice.
- Returns: ~1 Div/map from expeditions alone, plus breach currency (about a Divine of chaos per crafted batch of womb gifts), with occasional 300–600+ Div ring crafts as the home-run outcome.
- Scaling: Blood is your hard limiting factor — maximize blood per map (guaranteed hive-blood tablet mods) to craft more rings and chase the Pneumonic jackpot.
Step-by-step
- Set up cheap six-mod maps: take castoffs from Grand Expedition crafting and corrupt them (eight mods or T16 is a bonus, not required).
- Run Jato as your master with Unexpected missions, Eastern Knowledge, and Partial Translations for the tablet juice.
- Slot triple rare tablets — Quantity of Hive Blood found in map is mandatory on every tablet; pair with a Womb Gift bonus where possible. Skip the unique tablet (it only adds rares and slows you down).
- In each map, clear all breaches, kill the map boss, and run the expedition. Path around Breach Hives when you can — they give more gifts but roughly half the blood.
- Control-click Womb Gifts to autocraft them for chaos, and keep a stack of Liquid Verisium to re-roll any cheap (<1 chaos) Verisium remnants — a rare high-value hit can be hundreds of Divine.
- Clear a whole sector of ocean travel nodes, then swap back to a Grand Expedition session and repeat.
Risks
- Blood-gated: your ring-craft output is capped by how much blood you farm, so a bad tablet setup tanks the whole strategy.
- The big ring/Pneumonic payouts are jackpots, not guaranteed income — baseline profit is steady but modest.
- Breach Hives can force detours and lower blood-per-map if you spawn them on a chokepoint.
