This is a low-investment, repeatable crafting recipe for making divines off energy-shield body armour in 0.5. The idea is simple: buy cheap magic Veil Robes, run them through a fixed essence-and-exalt sequence to land energy shield plus resistances, socket them, and resell. Because the base costs only a handful of exalts and the finished armour sells for multiple divines, even mediocre outcomes return your investment, and the occasional strong roll can sell for tens of divines.
It works because demand for high-energy-shield chests with resistances is constant, the materials are commodity currency you can buy on trade at any time, and the process is deterministic enough to mass-produce. It is aimed at players who want a reliable currency floor without gambling on big-ticket crafts.
Atlas Tree & Setup
This is a crafting/trade recipe rather than a map-farming strategy, so there is no atlas tree involved. You only need access to trade (to buy bases and materials) and the crafting benches / Well of Souls used in the sequence. Exact currency quantities to confirm against the source video.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: low — magic Veil Robe bases cost roughly 1–15 exalts each, plus greater essences of enchantment, omen of dextral exaltation, greater exalt orbs, and iron runes.
- Returns: mid — typical sales land 2–4 divines, with strong resistance + spirit rolls reaching well into the divines (the creator showcases ~40-divine outcomes on lucky pieces).
- Scaling: batch it. Craft many at once; the average across a stack is comfortably profitable even when individual pieces brick.
Step-by-step
- Buy a magic Veil Robe with at least 50 spirit (or just high flat energy shield for the second recipe variant).
- Apply a greater essence of enchantment to upgrade it.
- Fill the suffixes using omen of dextral exaltation + armour-focused greater exaltation, aiming for resistances.
- Use the Well of Souls to push flat energy shield as high as possible (good flat ES is the priority roll).
- Add sockets and six iron runes.
- Price-check on trade by the rolled spirit, energy shield, and resistances; vault (corrupt) for quality/extra sockets only after you’ve already locked in profit.
Risks
- Outcomes are random — some pieces brick on resistances or miss spirit and sell for little; profit is an average over many crafts, not every single item.
- The specific base (Veil Robes) gets farmed out as a meta — expect the price to drop after a popular video, so adapt the same technique to other ES bases (helmets, evasion armours, weapons).
