Strategy
This is a high-investment Expedition farming strategy built around running Aldur’s Saga on uncharted (charted) waters to force stacks of Grand Expeditions. The creator ran ten Aldur’s Saga tablets back to back and broke the whole thing down as a profit-and-loss sheet: roughly 557 divines of net profit across about seven hours of play, working out to around 80 divines per hour once the jackpot Aldur’s Legacy drops, exceptional bases and raw currency are all counted.
The method works because Aldur’s Saga guarantees a minimum number of Grand Expeditions on an uncharted-waters node, and Grand Expeditions are where the dense, high-value remnant loot lives. Layering rarity, rare-monster-effectiveness and additional-modifier tablets on top of eight-modded waystones multiplies the returns on every remnant you crack.
It is aimed at players who already have a large currency buffer and a tanky, high-clear mapper that can survive the wall-to-wall remnant explosions.
Atlas Tree & Setup
Buy Aldur’s Saga tablets (~42 div each in the video) plus irradiated tablets carrying rarity, rare-monster effectiveness and an additional modifier. Save the pricier additional-mod tablets for 7-plus alloy remnants for maximum value (6-plus works when 7-plus is scarce). Run these on tier-15 waystones filtered to eight mods by rolling ~70% effectiveness and ~20% item rarity. Exact atlas passive specifics should be confirmed against the source video.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: high — roughly 550+ divines up front (420 div on ten saga tablets alone, plus irradiated tablets and waystones)
- Returns: high — ~1,136 div gross revenue in the sample run, ~557 div net profit, ~80 div/hr
- Scaling: returns are jackpot-weighted — Aldur’s Legacy and desire drops carry the run, so results swing with luck
Step-by-step
- Mark your Expedition nodes on the uncharted-waters map and identify Grand Expeditions.
- Use the island-rumor tool (linked in the creator’s description) to chain rumors and preview how many Grand Expeditions a node will reveal; remove an inventory item to refresh the rumor list.
- Once a node shows a guaranteed set of Grand Expeditions, apply Aldur’s Saga and run it.
- On remnants, pick the golden Opulent rune surrounded by the transfer circle, then continue taking purple runes inside golden circles to carry mods forward.
- Sort the loot afterward, discarding trash exceptional items and tallying valuables.
Risks
- Very high up-front cost — a bad jackpot streak can leave you close to break-even
- Remnant density can overwhelm a squishy build; you need survivability and a clean loot filter
- Value is heavily tied to RNG drops (Aldur’s Legacy, exceptional bases)
- Requires learning the island-rumor tool and the remnant rune-transfer mechanic
