Strategy
The new Expedition atlas tree added a passive called Feeling Lucky that lets you buy Liquid Veridium from the Expedition vendor. Liquid Veridium rerolls the runic inscriptions on remnants inside an expedition, and in Grand Expeditions you get enough remnants to reroll around 15 times per map. That turns Expedition into a fishing game: reroll until a remnant shows a high-value reward, then detonate it.
The creator ranks this above Breach, Delirium and beast farming on the low end, because it is easy, cheap to run and lands big rewards — Perfect Chaos and Exalted Orbs, Divine stacks, and occasionally 100–200 divine items — roughly every second or third map. They note it may be an oversight, since normal in-map remnants behave as described while Grand Expeditions effectively get rerolls.
Atlas Tree & Setup
- Complete the Expedition quest line and kill its bosses to earn all 24 tree points
- Take Feeling Lucky (essential), extra remnants on Expanding Territory and Steady Development, the power rune on Calculated Investment, Double on Double or Nothing, and Swarm on Cultivate the Sea (chance for Exalted drops to become Chaos)
- Run six-modded T15 corrupted waystones; triple Irradiated tablets with increased rarity work well
- Stock up on Liquid Veridium and Expedition logbooks
Investment & Returns
- Investment: low — Liquid Veridium is cheap relative to the returns
- Returns: high — the creator reports a jackpot roughly every 2–3 maps
- Scales with more maps run and better rarity; very strong builds can also exploit the buffed Grand Expedition rewards
Step-by-step
- Finish the Expedition quest line and spec the Expedition tree as above.
- Buy a stack of Liquid Veridium and gather logbooks.
- Sail out and find Grand Expeditions (marked with a special icon and ring).
- Inside, check each remnant’s rewards; use Liquid Veridium on any you don’t like to reroll the inscriptions.
- Skip weak rolls and keep rerolling until you see Divines, perfect orbs or high-value items.
- Path your detonation through currency chests on the way to the chosen remnant.
Risks
- May be patched if it is unintended behaviour
- Results are streaky — individual maps can return little
- Liquid Veridium price may rise as more players adopt the strategy
