Strategy
Delirium adds fog to a map that makes monsters tougher and drops better loot. The real farming value sits in two places: Simulacrum Splinters (300 make a Simulacrum, which the creator notes usually sells for a few Divine Orbs) and Liquid Emotions, the Delirium-only currency used to instil amulets and craft jewels.
The bigger engine is Grand Mirrors. After enough Delirium maps a Grand Mirror appears; killing the doubled boss on that map lets you spread a fog bank over a cluster of nearby maps. Those maps keep Delirium active no matter which tablets you slot, so you can run Breach, Abyss or Ritual tablets and still get Delirium on top. Deliriousness builds as you kill rares, uniques and bosses, is shared across the cluster, and can climb to 200%. At 100% a Simulacrum opens.
This is aimed at players already comfortable in endgame maps. The creator is clear that Delirium is brutal at league start and should not be forced until the build is ready.
Atlas Tree & Setup
Priority Delirium atlas notables:
- Is This About Me or You? — unlocks Simulacrum Splinters from Delirium encounters (area level 75+). Grab early even if Delirium is not your main farm.
- You Can’t Just Wake Up From This One — Simulacrums offer shards between waves; Apex Predator (extra bosses) is the creator’s usual pick, Escalating Threats second.
- You Can’t Scare Me Anymore + I Know Your Childhood Fears — unique monsters can drop potent and ancient emotions.
The keystone is optional; the creator prefers the +4 maps option for more fog bank maps. Useful tablet mods: more unique bosses, more mirror shards, more fracturing mirrors, and increased Simulacrum Splinter stack size. Jado or Doryani are suggested atlas masters for a pure Delirium tablet setup.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: low — Delirium tablets are cheaper than most other mechanics
- Returns: mid — steady splinter income plus chances at high-value emotions; Simulacrums can drop Megalomaniac and Voices
- Scaling: grows with deliriousness (up to 200%+) and with layering fog banks over Breach, Abyss or Ritual
Step-by-step
- Start the Delirium questline with Elder Maddox at the Withered Willow.
- Allocate the splinter notable early and collect splinters while progressing other content.
- Run Delirium tablets until a Grand Mirror appears, kill both reflected bosses, and spread the fog bank to a cluster.
- Build deliriousness in the cluster; at 100% run the Simulacrum, picking Apex Predator shards when your build can handle it.
- Use crafted Simulacrums from splinters on fog bank maps that are already at 100%.
- Once strong enough, layer Ritual, Breach or Abyss tablets on fog bank maps for extra bosses and currency.
Risks
- Very hard at high deliriousness; even white monsters can kill an unprepared build at 200%
- Fog bank setups take a lot of time to find mirrors and prepare maps
- Tanky Delirium monsters slow down weak builds badly, hurting profit per hour
- Heavy loot volume needs a strict loot filter
