Strategy
This is an update to the creator’s invaded-cities strategy for 0.5.5 Forbidden Rites. The core is the same: run city maps and use summoning circles to chase Jamanra, the Citadel boss whose tablets are worth around 11 divine. The update fixes a supply problem. The tablet the creator recommended before (with an extra unique-monster modifier) has almost vanished from trade, so this version adds two more ways to make money: Abyss tablets in the city maps and Breach tablets on the travel maps between them.
Abyss adds Craniums (about 26 divine at recording) and Omens of Light (close to 9 divine) from chests in the Depths and the Lightless Void. Breach mostly serves the Genesis Tree. Womb gifts and hive blood from Breach tablets turn into rings with three minion suffixes, which the creator values at about 15–20 divine for mid rolls and 100+ divine for the best combinations. With a weaker version of this plan the creator bought a perfect Mageblood in a single day.
Atlas Tree & Setup
- City maps: four Abyss tablets with an additional summoning circle and quantity of waystones. They cost about 5–6 exalted each. The Abyssal modifier on the tablet is optional. If Abyss tablets get scarce, swap one or two for Irradiated tablets (+1 monster level).
- Travel maps: two sets of Breach tablets, both with a summoning circle and quantity of waystones. One set adds quantity of womb gifts and the other adds quantity of hive blood. They cost about 4 chaos each.
- Waystones: 120%+ waystone drop chance (the creator runs 125%).
- Atlas: the invaded-cities node must be set to Powerful, or the strategy bugs out. You need the Abyss and Breach trees completed from their quests. On the Abyss tree take Amanamu (Omens). On the Breach tree take the unstable-breach reward node and the node for the needed womb gift type.
- Genesis Tree: follow the left-side minion-modifier path, including cooldown recovery rate.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: mid (cheap Abyss and Breach tablets plus high-waystone maps; you need a build that can handle city bosses)
- Returns: high. A single fragment map can be worth 40–60 divine, but those only come every 7–8 maps. The creator doesn’t track div/hr.
- Scaling: Genesis rings, catalysts traded up 3-to-1, and rolling the many Abyss tablets that drop, then selling them
Step-by-step
- In a city map, click the three monoliths first and kill the boss that spawns in the middle. Don’t click the small stones before that, because it can bug the map.
- Click a small stone to spawn a checkpoint, go back to the monoliths, wait in the middle for the lightning in the sky, then kill the summoned boss and take the loot.
- After the first summon, wait to confirm a possible second boss is dead before you teleport away. Leaving early breaks the other stones.
- Full-clear the Depths and the Lightless Void, because Craniums come from their chests.
- On travel maps, run every breach. At the Genesis Tree, ctrl-click the womb gifts, pick the hive-blood summon, then shift-click each gift to spawn rings.
- Spend leftover hive blood on the catalyst tree. Trade catalysts 3-to-1 at the reforging bench into Sibilant, Skittering or Reaver, which are the valuable ones.
- Sell your own Abyss tablets. Use transmute and augment and price check, then regal and exalt if the roll is good, or alchemy or chaos if it isn’t.
Risks
- The monolith summoning bugs out easily. Follow the order in the steps above exactly.
- Tablet supply on trade can dry up again. Keep Irradiated tablets as a fallback.
- The ring and catalyst values are what the creator saw on trade. Price-check your own rolls before listing, because some listed prices look inflated.
