In patch 0.5.5 this guide rates Expedition as an S-tier farming method. It pays two ways: big divine-per-hour from Grand Expeditions, and plenty of loot straight from the excavated tiles. The guide takes you from Expedition in normal maps up to Grand Expeditions and the Expedition bosses.
A big draw is that the method scales with difficulty. The harder the content you can handle, the more it pays, so money you put into your character comes back as more profit. This suits players who already have a solid endgame character and want a farming loop they can keep scaling.
Atlas Tree & Setup
