Strategy
This is a juiced Grand Expedition farm built around modifier stacking. Rather than clicking remnants for small rewards, the goal is to make the Expedition monsters as heavily modified as possible so they explode into loot. In the creator’s showcased run a single encounter dropped around 14 Divine Orbs plus a pile of other currency, and they report a Headhunter from the previous map; their estimate of a bad-case outcome is still several divines per map.
With the previous season’s Aldur Saga logbook effect removed in 0.5.5, the system is more balanced, so you need to open many areas and invest only in the good ones. It is aimed at strong characters: the monsters in these stacked Grand Expeditions are among the toughest in the game, and clearing one map does not mean your build can clear the next. If your build struggles, the creator recommends normal in-map Expedition instead.
Atlas Tree & Setup
- Logbooks: use Expedition logbooks and advance them through the map; open the areas that show good properties (+remnants, twice as many items, wide explosion range, high minimum rune slots) and skip or quickly clear weak ones.
- Waystones: buy 8-mod waystones with high monster effectiveness (80%+) plus item or monster rarity. They must be corrupted, because Jado adds an additional random modifier to corrupted waystones. You can also craft your own with Ritual omens that fill missing modifiers.
- Atlas master: Jado.
- Tablets: only Irradiated tablets work inside Grand Expeditions. Search for unused tablets with a random-modifiers line and at least two of: number of rare monsters, monster rarity, item rarity, items found rate (best to worst in that order).
- Build: strong damage and defences are mandatory — nearly every map will have ignited ground and multiple dangerous stacked modifiers.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: high — premium tablets were ~27 div for top combinations, with ~10 div budget options
- Returns: high — creator shows ~14 div from one encounter and reports far higher peaks
- Scaling: better tablet combinations, divining low-rolled tablets, and more modifier stacks
Step-by-step
- Finish the Expedition setup basics (logbook progression and atlas points).
- Buy or craft corrupted 8-mod waystones with high monster effectiveness and rarity.
- Buy Irradiated tablets with the random-modifier line plus two of the preferred stats; for cheaper tablets, buy pre-rolled ones — for expensive ones, buy low rolls and divine them yourself.
- Open logbook areas, evaluate each for remnant count and bonuses, and only invest in the strong ones.
- Stack remnant modifiers onto the monsters, detonate, and loot with a strict filter.
Risks
- Very demanding content — deaths and failed maps waste expensive tablets
- Tablet prices are high and swing with the market
- Loot is variable; the showcased run was above average
- Not suitable for mid-tier builds — use a normal Expedition farm instead
