Strategy
Breach tablets are one of the more expensive tablet types because they are hard to obtain — normally you only get them from the occasional Unstable Breach, and you are not guaranteed even one per map. This guide offers a target-farming method: instead of farming everything and hoping for breach drops, you deliberately hop between Breach strongholds so every map guarantees a Breach Hive encounter, giving you two chances at a breach tablet per map (from the encounter itself and from the monsters around the hive).
A second pillar of the strategy is keeping item rarity LOW. Without rarity, your tablets drop as normal or magic — which is what you want, because white breach tablets sell well and blue ones can be rolled. Rare tablets are the worst outcome since you are stuck with whatever mods they roll.
Atlas Tree & Setup
- Breach strongholds — use a Breachstone to reveal the hidden stronghold on the atlas (three fortresses + one colony). Always do the colony — each Tul kill guarantees a splinter sack worth ~5-6 Divines.
- Guaranteed hives — the normal maps around a Breach stronghold carry the breach-stronghold biome, which guarantees a Breach Hive; that is how you target-farm the tablet.
- Tablets — triple Irradiated tablets with quantity of waystones + monster effectiveness. Master Domain (makes maps count as mountain for “increased quantity of tablets found”) is stronger but expensive and single-use, so triple Irradiated is the budget pick.
- Master — Doriani for the effect/effectiveness and rare-monster modifier (most tablets drop from rares). Jato’s 0-40% tablet-effect node is strong but conflicts with biome-keeping map mods.
- Atlas tree — quantity of tablets found (on mountain/Master Domain maps), plus Faridan-city biome nodes and breach effectiveness/monster nodes.
- Waystones — aim for ~110% waystone drop chance and NO item rarity.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: mid (breachstones + Irradiated tablets; optional Master Domain)
- Returns: a steady pile of white/magic breach tablets to sell or roll, plus ~5-6 Divine splinter sacks from colony Tul kills
- Abyss and ritual tablets also accumulate as a bonus
Step-by-step
- Use a Breachstone to open a stronghold and clear the colony for guaranteed splinter sacks.
- Run the surrounding breach-stronghold biome maps for guaranteed Breach Hives.
- Slot triple Irradiated tablets (waystone quantity + effectiveness); keep rarity off your gear and waystones.
- Kill the hive and surrounding rares for two tablet chances per map, then hop to the next stronghold.
- Sell white breach tablets or roll blue ones; never settle for rare tablets.
Risks
- Master Domain is expensive and single-use, so it eats into margins if overused.
- Running zero rarity means worse general map loot — this is a focused tablet farm, not an all-in-one juicing setup.
- Some atlas/Jato interactions don’t preserve the stronghold biome; double-check before committing nodes.
