Strategy
The Ritual rework in patch 0.5, plus the league’s hotfixes, has turned Ritual into one of the strongest currency farms available — the value comes almost entirely from farming Omens, which are consistently in demand. This strategy pushes Ritual well past casual play by layering Rite of the Nameless over ocean-tile maps and doubling reroll count with a unique tablet, so you flip through far more reward pages per session and cherry-pick the valuable Omens. The creator reports well over 200 divines worth of Omens alone from a single 4.5-5 hour session, making 40-50 divines per hour realistic — and that excludes raw currency, bases, and unique drops.
It is for players comfortable in juiced T15-16 maps who don’t mind fast reward-window micromanagement.
Atlas Tree & Setup
Run corrupted T15-16 maps out in the ocean so every map also carries an Expedition. Ritual doesn’t need rarity or monster effectiveness — favor rare-monster count, monster rarity, pack size, and summoning circles instead. Use the Jato mastery with unexpected missions, eastern knowledge, and keen appraisal. On the Atlas, take the full Ritual tree (prioritize increased number of favours) and a swamp-map lean: Boss of the Bog can drop a random map boss into your rituals, and Swamp Chaos mastery converts some exalted drops into chaos.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: mid — Heads of the King (~1.5 div each) to set up Rite of the Nameless, plus Freedom of Faith unique tablets (currently cheap) and two regular ritual tablets.
- Returns: high — 40-50+ div/hr from Omens alone, scaling with how fast you flip reward pages.
Step-by-step
- Travel to Kerarth, attach a Head of the King, and lay out a six-map Rite of the Nameless chain in the ocean.
- Prioritize hitting the foretold proliferation nodes first (they propagate bonuses to the whole chain); cancel with Escape to re-roll a bad layout without consuming the Head.
- Run two regular ritual tablets rolled for increased tribute, reduced reroll cost, reduced deferring cost, and increased chance of Omens; corrupt tablets at Atzer’s Temple for a shot at a third suffix.
- In each map, defer everything of value down to near-zero tribute using the reduced-deferring mod, then reroll through as many pages as possible hunting high-value Omens and uniques.
- Get fast at the reward-window micromanagement — speed here is what drives your divines-per-hour.
Risks
- Reward-window micromanagement is the real skill curve; slow flipping tanks your hourly rate.
- Rite of the Nameless can’t be converted into an Audience with the King afterward.
- Some maps rarely fail to spawn a final boss, ending on a ritual instead.
