Strategy
This is a low-budget take on triple Ritual farming aimed squarely at printing omens rather than fishing for jackpot belts. The patch reworked the Ritual reward window so it now only rolls unique items and omens, which makes the whole mechanic far cleaner to grind: no rare clutter, no junk currency, just a window full of things worth pricing. Because omens like Sinistral Anointment, Whittling, and Omen of Chance hold serious value, repeatedly deferring and rerolling cheap windows turns into a steady currency faucet.
The core idea is to run three Ritual tablets so no other mechanic spawns, guaranteeing every map is wall-to-wall Ritual. You stack tablets that increase the chance for favours to be omens, pair a reduced-tribute tablet with an increased-tribute tablet on each side, and run the Freedom of Faith unique Ritual tablet so you can reroll roughly twice as many times per window.
Atlas Tree & Setup
This assumes a fully completed Ritual Atlas tree. On the Ritual Master, take Invigorated Sacrifices (the middle node) and Tainted Rituals (the branch that boosts your chance at belts). Remember you can take all three picks on the same line on a Master node, so you do not have to spread across lines. Keep the base-tree node that gives a 20% chance to not consume a reroll, and the node tied to killing inside the moving tribute circle.
Tablet loadout per side: one reduced-tribute-cost tablet and one increased-tribute-granted tablet, all chosen with increased chance for favours to be omens. Three Ritual tablets total locks the map to Ritual only (you still get random shrines, exiles, strongboxes, and summoning circles, but no Breach or Abyss). Run this under a tower (the creator used a low-roll 0-40% tablet-effect setup rather than expensive max-roll rerolls). Maps are cheap 6-mod maps with at least 20% pack size - nothing special, just 2-5ex each.
Finally, you chain maps with the Head of the King attached to a statue in Sath. Each head gives a six-map chain (the creator bought seven for 42+ maps). When choosing the chain, favour Foretold Proliferation buffs - especially “rerolls cost reduced tribute” - because they propagate down the entire rest of the chain.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: ~4.5 div per 10 maps (about 2-3 div per rare tablet, ~0.5 div for the Freedom of Faith unique), so roughly 21.6 div across 48 maps. Add ~200ex per Head of the King chain. · Returns: ~184 div total profit over 48 maps (52 div ground loot, ~144 div in liquidated omens, plus stragglers), which works out to about 3.84 div per map. · Scaling: roughly 29 div per hour given how long the windows take to roll, and double map sustain (50 in, ~100 back). The ceiling is uncapped - any Tainted Ritual can roll a Mageblood or Headhunter belt for 300-400 div, even though this run landed none.
Step-by-step
- Complete the Ritual Atlas tree and slot Invigorated Sacrifices plus Tainted Rituals on the Master.
- Equip three Ritual tablets per the setup: paired reduced/increased tribute, all with increased omen chance, plus Freedom of Faith for extra rerolls.
- Buy cheap 6-mod maps with 20%+ pack size and a stack of Head of the King.
- In Sath, attach the Head to a statue and build a six-map chain, prioritising Foretold Proliferation buffs like reduced reroll tribute.
- In each map, rush the boss and do that Ritual first so the boss is resurrected in every later Ritual, snowballing tribute.
- Always fight inside the moving wisp/tribute circle to maximise tribute per kill, and follow the swarm to the next altar.
- At each window, instantly buy anything above ~3ex, defer everything else (cheap thanks to reduced defer costs), and reroll. Keep ~3.4k tribute in reserve for the final roll.
- Use a price-check overlay (the creator uses Exiled Exchange 2) so you never sell an expensive omen cheap.
- Liquidate all collected omens at the end and tally against your tablet/head spend.
Risks
- It is slow. Rolling every window thoroughly took ~47 minutes per six-map chain, around 6+ hours for the full 48-map test.
- Profit is consistent but not explosive without belt luck; this is deliberately a cheap, omen-focused strat, not a Mageblood fishing setup.
- Tribute management matters - run dry on the final roll and you can miss a high-value omen or belt.
- Encounters can bug out (an Expedition reward vanished, costing 3 div), and high omen prices fluctuate fast as the market moves.
- Queen Rituals are roughly an 8% chance per Ritual and may be partly displaced by Tainted choices; do not count on them.
