Strategy
This method turns Aldur’s Saga tablets into a repeatable Expedition-juicing engine. You spend a Saga on Uncharted Waters to force a spread of Grand Expeditions, then load those maps with radiated tablets that stack item rarity and rare-monster effectiveness. The Expedition remnants become the payout: high-tier remnants, transferred Opulent runes, and boss encounters drop stacked currency, Exceptional bases, and jackpot uniques like Aldur’s Legacy and Aldur’s Desire.
It works this patch because Runes of Aldur league content puts enormous value behind Grand Expeditions and their remnant chains, and Aldur’s Saga lets you guarantee that a chunk of an Uncharted Waters node resolves into four or more Grand Expeditions instead of random low-value islands. Layer rarity and rare-monster mods on top and each map’s remnants and boss loot balloon. In the showcased run, roughly 557 divines of investment returned about 1,136 divines of loot across seven hours, or ~80 div/hr.
This is an endgame, high-capital strategy. Ten Saga tablets alone ran around 420 divines, so it suits players who already have a stockpile to reinvest and a tanky, high-clear build that can survive the dense remnant packs. It is not a starter method.
Atlas Tree & Setup
The core loop runs on Uncharted Waters with Aldur’s Saga tablets. Before committing a Saga, inspect the island rumors: never use a Saga on a node showing two, one, or zero rumors, because those resolve into too few Grand Expeditions. Use the community rumor-preview tool (linked in the video description) to read the guaranteed reveals, then reroll the rumor list by moving an item in your inventory until you confirm a node that guarantees at least four Grand Expeditions plus a bonus (for example a unique map like the Lake of Kalandra).
For the maps themselves, run tier-15 waystones filtered for eight modifiers, searched via the endgame filter at roughly 70% effectiveness and 20% item rarity (each waystone cost about 60). Radiated tablets carry the juice: one set with item-rarity effectiveness plus an additional mod (~27 div) and another with rare-monster effectiveness plus an additional mod (~43 div). Push these onto 6-plus, ideally 7-plus, Allo remnants for maximum value; cheaper single-mod radiated tablets (~1 div each) cover 5-plus and lucky remnants. Specifics to confirm against the source video.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: high (~550+ divines per 10-Saga cycle, driven by ~42 div per Saga tablet) · Returns: high, roughly 80 div/hr in the showcased run (~1,136 div revenue vs ~557 div cost) · Scales with remnant tier, rarity/rare-monster stacking, and jackpot unique luck (Aldur’s Legacy, Aldur’s Desire).
Step-by-step
- Stockpile Aldur’s Saga tablets, radiated tablets (rarity + rare-monster variants), and eight-mod tier-15 waystones.
- On Uncharted Waters, check island rumors and skip any node showing two or fewer rumors.
- Use the rumor-preview tool and reroll by shuffling inventory items until a node guarantees four or more Grand Expeditions plus a bonus reward.
- Apply Aldur’s Saga to lock in the guaranteed Grand Expeditions.
- Run the maps with eight-mod waystones and the radiated tablets applied to your highest-tier remnants (6-plus, ideally 7-plus).
- During remnants, prioritize the golden Opulent rune surrounded by the golden transfer circle, then grab purple runes inside golden circles to carry mods forward; otherwise take the highest-value rune available.
- Collect and sort loot; sell Exceptional bases, sagas/alloys, raw currency, and jackpot uniques.
Risks
- Very high upfront capital: a single 10-Saga cycle costs hundreds of divines, and a cold streak can leave you near break-even, as it nearly did in the showcased run before jackpot drops.
- Payout is variance-heavy; the big profit hinges on rare uniques (Aldur’s Legacy, Aldur’s Desire) and high-tier 7-plus remnants that do not always appear.
- Dense remnant packs spawn overwhelming on-death effects and ground explosions, so a fragile build can die and lose the map.
- The rumor-preview workflow and tablet filtering add setup overhead; misreading rumors wastes a 40+ div Saga.
