Strategy
This is a low-budget Abyss farming routine built for the casual player who does not want to sink five-to-ten Divines into a map just for a shot at profit. The Abyss remains one of the most reliable currency printers in 0.5, and the core trick here is the Heart of the Well diamond: with the right Atlas configuration, a Rogue Exile that dies on or next to an Abyss can be reborn as a Lich-born, and killing that reborn exile drops a diamond worth anywhere from a handful up to hundreds of Divines depending on its rolls.
The method stacks three layers — the Abyss Atlas cluster, Abyss tablets, and Rogue Exile nodes — so that every map throws as many exiles as possible near Abyssal rifts while flooding the floor with omens, essences and rarity. It scales smoothly because tablets have ten uses each, so even a 40-80 Exalted tablet pays for itself many times over.
Atlas Tree & Setup
- Fully clear the right-side Abyssal fissures to bank all 35 Abyss tree points.
- Take Shadow of Undeath (50% chance for Rogue Exiles to be influenced by Abysses) — this is the node that enables the Lich-born / diamond loop.
- Grab the 50% increased chance to find omens, plus every Rogue Exile node you can reach (pairs, guaranteed jewellery uniques, Overlord’s Domain for the guaranteed extra exile).
- Take the chain nodes that let completing Abysses overrun adjacent maps — free extra Abyssal content.
- Pick faction Ulaman (or any) under Balance of Power; choose the Jaydo passive cluster (50% increased exceptional items, double-effect tablet mods, better runic stones).
Investment & Returns
- Investment: low — budget tablets run 30-80 Exalted but last 10 maps each. Returns: the creator banked his first 100 Divines casually; income comes from omens (an Omen of Light is ~7 Div), Heart of the Well diamonds, exceptional items, essences and Kulemak invitations. Yield is bursty but consistent over volume.
Step-by-step
- Enter endgame and allocate the full Abyss + Rogue Exile Atlas as above.
- Slot tablets that say Abyss pits twice as likely to have rewards, map inhabited by one additional Rogue Exile, and rarity/extra-Abyss mods.
- Run maps with powerful map bosses; kill Rogue Exiles on or beside an Abyss to trigger the reborn diamond drop.
- Pop Abyssal chests, strongboxes and essences along the way; bank any Lightless Void / Kulemak invitations for bonus pinnacle loot.
- Upgrade tablets with Regal/Reverse Transcription once your fortress and Arbiter clears unlock the extra modifier slots.
Risks
- Rogue Exiles spawn randomly — if they start far from an Abyss you cannot funnel them, so many maps produce no diamond. Keep all 10 tablet uses for the law of averages.
- Stacking too many tablet mods reduces revives; keep two revives as a casual safety margin.
- Diamond value is roll-dependent — income is swingy round to round.
