Strategy
This is a follow-up to an existing Hive Blood / Breach farming setup rather than a full guide from scratch. It collects five small adjustments that raise the profit of a solo Breach farm in 0.5.5, plus a re-test of which Atlas master to run. None of the tips change how the maps are played; they squeeze more value out of what the strategy already produces: catalysts, Hive Blood, Womb Gifts and Essences of the Breach.
It suits players who already run Breach tablets on juiced waystones and want to trim costs or convert low-value drops into higher-value ones.
Atlas Tree & Setup
- Take every Breach-related Essence point on the main Atlas tree. More essence monsters spawn, and any near a breach can turn into Essence of the Breach through the Breach tree.
- Run the strategy on city maps to maximise Hive Blood income when playing alone.
- Master: Doryani is still preferred. Jado gave slightly more Hive Blood in a small test with strong tablets, but Doryani keeps access to level 82 Womb Gifts, which sell for more.
- Exact tablet rolls and tree allocation: confirm against the source video and the creator’s previous Breach guide.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: mid. Four tablets with a 40% Hive Blood / Womb Gift quantity roll cost roughly 24 divines in total at the time of recording.
- Returns: high. The creator frames the base strategy as a 100+ div/hr farm.
- Scaling: better tablets and more city maps raise Hive Blood per map.
Step-by-step
- Sell catalysts at the recommended price. Beat the current offers slightly instead of waiting on greedy listings.
- Reforge cheap catalysts. Trade three low-value catalysts (cheap normal ones such as Adaptive; any refined ones except Necrotic, Reaver and Sibilant) for a chance at Sibilant or Reaver, which can be worth several divines. It is a gamble and costs time.
- Stay on city maps, and pick cheaper tablets. Pure Hive Blood tablets are cheapest, but you then have to buy Womb Gifts and you lose several gift types, so a 40% Hive Blood / Womb Gift tablet is the middle option.
- Allocate the Breach Essence points so essences near breaches become Essence of the Breach.
- Craft your own tier 16 waystones from boss map drops using Alchemy, Exalted and Vaal Orbs to save currency.
Risks
- Catalyst reforging is RNG; many trades will not hit Sibilant or Reaver.
- Tablet prices moved after the creator’s earlier video, so the cost figures may be out of date.
- Self-crafting T16 waystones saves currency but eats time; it is optional.
