Strategy
Ritual is one of the strongest farms in Path of Exile 2 0.5, and the latest patch buffed it twice over. First, the Atlas master notables (notably Doriani’s) that were bugged now work, so you can irradiate your maps for a higher area level. Second, the expensive level-gated omens that previously required a level-80 map now generate at a lower threshold — so you no longer have to sacrifice a tablet slot to an irradiation tablet just to access them. The creator opened a fresh, zero-start session and was back to 100+ Divines within hours, with zero rarity on the character.
The real power comes from combining Ritual with Delirium. The two scale the same way (pack size), and Delirium is the one mechanic with no opportunity cost — it happens passively while you do everything else. Stacked together you farm ritual tribute and bosses while Delirium quietly drops Simulacrum splinters and the new high-value distilled juices.
Atlas Tree & Setup
Take the full Ritual tree (Wisps, Summoning Circles, Shrines, then all pack-size nodes) plus the core Delirium nodes — “It’s About Me” for splinter drops and the emotion/questline nodes. Run two Ritual tablets (cheapest on the market, alch-and-go) plus one Delirium tablet. Doriani’s irradiation pushes maps to area level 80 for better drops. - Investment: mid — just the cheapest ritual + delirium tablets, no rarity gear required. Returns: high — the creator hit 111 Divine from a zero-start session at roughly 15–20 maps per hour (~3 min each). The new Delirium juices (5–6 Divine each) and splinters are pure bonus drops on top of ritual tribute.
Step-by-step
- Farm the Ritual and Delirium Atlas nodes first (pack size, wisps, splinter drops).
- Slot two Ritual tablets plus one Delirium tablet, alch-and-go.
- Irradiate via Doriani for area-level-80 maps.
- Run maps, do every ritual you reasonably can, defer or buy valuable items, and pour leftover tribute into an Audience with the King.
- Combo with boss content (Hau, citadel, Invitation to the King) as you go to keep boss kills consistent; collect splinters at the end of each map.
Risks
- Delirium makes maps significantly harder — if it slows you down too much, swap to an extra ritual tablet instead.
- Ritual reward quality is RNG (layout, boss, essence) — some maps print, some don’t.
- Splinter counts vary wildly per map (2 to 20); treat them as an extra, not a guaranteed payout.
