Strategy
A map-based Expedition farm for 0.5.5: instead of the dedicated Expedition content chain, you run Expeditions on your own maps using Expedition tablets and the reworked atlas. The key is stacking Verisium relics — each completed relic raises monster rarity in the area — while also juicing the waystone for monster rarity, so every Expedition encounter drops more.
It is framed as a relaxed farm for any build that can map comfortably: the creator runs a slow, AFK-style character and still clears Expeditions regardless of mods.
Atlas Tree & Setup
- All atlas bosses killed, then take the Expedition nodes: the notable that raises monster rarity per completed relic, explosive charges that detonate after 50% of monsters are killed, increased chance for an extra Expedition (up to three per map), and runic properties on monsters.
- Desert-biome efficiency nodes (ocean and island maps also count as desert); Faridun cities can take an extra tablet. Nodes can be respecced right before a map.
- Tablet mod to look for: Expeditions have a greatly increased chance to contain an additional Verisium relic (up to 6–7 per map). Tablets cost about 5–7 Chaos for ten uses.
- Master: Jado — extra modifier on corrupted waystones, Verisium relics with a 10% chance to roll extra outcomes and keep the rarest, and Partial Translation for tablet effect.
Investment & Returns
- Investment: mid — about 2 Divine of tablets per ten maps plus roughly 1 Divine per map of waystone juice (10–12 Divine per ten maps)
- Returns: high — the creator estimates 70–80 Divine net per ten maps, plus Perfect-tier orbs, cores and runes
- Keep liquid Verisium on hand (about 20+ per Divine; enough for two maps)
Step-by-step
- Slot three Expedition tablets (four in city maps) and select Jado.
- Juice the waystone for monster rarity using omens on a five-mod waystone — six-mod waystones reject the rarity modifier.
- Corrupt the waystone for Jado’s bonus modifier.
- Complete Expeditions from the worst relics to the best, so rarity is highest when the best encounter pops.
- Sell the loot and convert Chaos into Divine Orbs.
Risks
- Profit estimate is rough and from the creator’s own sample
- Needs full atlas boss progress for the key nodes
- Waystone juicing costs can eat margins on bad maps
- Tablet and Verisium prices shift through the league
