Strategy

This method farms Abyss during the 0.5.5 event, where Abyss pits are dropping a lot of loot. You juice Abyss with the right tablets and Atlas passives, prioritise citadel-adjacent “city” maps, and use extra Rogue Exiles to spawn Heart of the Well jewels on top of Abyss rewards. The creator’s showcase came from just ten city maps and included several Divine Orbs, omens worth around three Divine each, and multiple citadel boss fragments.

Two extras stack on top. Overseer tablets turn the map boss into a powerful boss, which with the matching passive adds a second Rogue Exile; exiles standing on Abyss spawn Heart of the Well jewels (about 2.4 Divine unidentified, and a well-rolled one reached around 18 Divine). Citadel invasion passives can also bring in other citadel bosses that drop their fragments.

It is aimed at players who already have the full Atlas tree and a build that can handle corrupted, heavily juiced citadel maps.

Atlas Tree & Setup

  • Main tree: Nemesis option three (rare packs have a 50% chance for an extra rare), biome masteries for effectiveness and rare monsters, and the uncut gem node if you run T16
  • Abyss tree: the Amanamu option (pull the rare out of the black vortex for rarer omen drops), extra omen drops, and scattered Abysses; the node that spreads faction buffs to non-Abyss maps
  • Master: Jado with extra tablet effect (up to 40%), extra content for more Rogue Exiles, and anomaly maps; Doryani is an alternative for an extra revive and effectiveness
  • Overseer tablet: map is inhabited by one additional Rogue Exile
  • Abyss tablets (priority): Abyss pits twice as likely to have rewards; 20–40% chance for four additional Abysses; Abyssal monsters gain effectiveness per closed pit
  • Complementary mods: extra rare monsters from Abysses, abyssal modifier chance, desecrated currency chance, Abyssal Depths chance
  • Citadels: corrupt waystones and look for around 130%+ waystone drop chance; use four waystone-drop tablets, or normal Irradiated tablets if your build struggles

Investment & Returns

  • Investment: mid; the creator buys tablets and corrupts every waystone
  • Returns: high; roughly 40–50 Divine per hour at a simple “enter, close the Abyss, leave” pace, with spikes from rare omens, Heart of the Well jewels and citadel fragments
  • Scaling: city maps, better tablet combos, and higher waystone drop chance on citadels

Step-by-step

  1. Complete the full Atlas tree plus the Abyss tree nodes above.
  2. Roll or buy Abyss tablets; keep any with the priority mods, otherwise alch and reroll.
  3. Pair every map with an Overseer tablet for the extra Rogue Exile.
  4. Run normal maps quickly until you find citadels, closing Abysses and skipping slower mechanics.
  5. In cities and citadels, use the waystone-drop setup and collect fragments and jewels.

Risks

  • Heavily corrupted citadel maps get dangerous with drop-chance tablets
  • Loot depends on Abyss rolls; some maps give little
  • Tablet costs add up if you buy instead of rolling
  • Event-specific drop rates may not carry over to future leagues
