Strategy
This is an updated Ritual omen farm for the 0.5.5 event, where Ritual appears across the Atlas. The core loop is simple: run Ritual in maps buffed by the King’s Head, buy the valuable omens from the altar, and cash out the tribute you have left. The creator logged 24 maps in about three hours (six to seven minutes each) and valued the haul at roughly 220 Divine.
The key detail is location. Run it in “city” maps, the maps surrounding citadels. Three tablet-effect passives sit in that part of the tree, so tablets there are about 24% stronger, which adds a large chunk of omen chance on top of already high tablet rolls. Average tribute inside a city is around 50–60k, and roughly half that outside.
It suits players with a fast clear build who want a relaxed, repeatable currency farm without heavy mechanics.
Atlas Tree & Setup
- Finish the Ritual questline (left of the fortress) to unlock the Ritual Atlas nodes
- Use a King’s Head on the map node: it offers six buffed maps; reroll the choices toward Ritual bonuses, Chaos or Divine rewards. Each map completed without failing a Ritual gives one extra reroll
- City tablet setup (priority order): three tablets with “Ritual favours have 35–70% increased chance to be omens”; one of those also with reduced tribute cost to reroll favours and one with reduced cost to defer favours
- Outside cities: the same omen tablets plus the unique Ritual tablet Freedom of Faith
- Cash-out maps: leftover city maps with tablets where sacrificed monsters grant more tribute, ideally combined with revived monsters being magic or rare
- Enable your loot filter in Ritual by setting apply_item_filter_to_ritual to true in the game config file
Investment & Returns
- Investment: mid; well-rolled omen tablets cost several Divine (reroll plus omen chance tablets roughly 17 Divine more)
- Returns: high; about 220 Divine in 24 maps, with the creator suggesting a 20% margin of error (roughly 160–170 Divine)
- Scaling: faster clear per map and better omen tablets
Step-by-step
- Unlock the Ritual section of the Atlas and obtain a King’s Head.
- Place the King’s Head in a city region and pick map buffs focused on Ritual.
- Slot three omen-chance tablets (with the reroll/defer cost reductions).
- Clear each Ritual, defer and buy the valuable omens, and reroll the shop when useful.
- Use leftover city maps with tribute tablets to cash out deferred items.
Risks
- Results are an average; runs can be noticeably better or worse
- Buying tablets without checking prices is easy to overpay on
- Six to seven minutes per map means it is not the fastest method per hour
- Omen prices can drop as more players farm Ritual during the event
